Karma's A Bitch, A.S.Roma And CSKA Moscow Pay For It, Manchester City Show There's No I In Team

First of all I'd like to say to my readers, apologies for the inactivity due to personal reasons but if any City fans wish to contribute then get in contact via thisxisxourxcity@gmail.com.

I seem to recall our official City tweeter tempting fate by highlighting Totti's lack of goals on English soil, well that came back to haunt us but then Roma's arrogance fired back and boy did it back fire on a big scale being knocked out of the Champions League by liccle old City.

Roma tweeted in return "Thanks for the hospitality last night @mcfc. Looking forward to seeing you in Rome. You've never won a European game in Italy, have you?"

No we hadn't and might I add especially not without our Captain Kompany, not without our Silva Wizard, not without our star striker Sergio Sergio and not without our Midfield Titan Yaya Toure.

Wait a minute didn't we just knock out Roma without the spine of our team, so no more A.S. Roma and see you next season if you qualify.

The next one is just sheer golden satisfaction at it's best, the one and only CSKA Moscow well well well.

I seem to recall them showing our club and players nothing but utter contempt and disrespect, I seem to remember Uefa reducing their punishment for RACISM. I also seem to recall Uefa allowing them to allow fans into the home game against Manchester City despite having a stadium wide ban.

There were also reports that they failed to provide adequate sustenance for our players after the match, after Yaya Toure reported CSKA fans for racism their club decided to deny the racism and support their blatantly guilty fan base.

In a way Sergio being out of action worked in our favour, it gave our lads the opportunity to finally face palm all our critics and shut up the anti City brigade once and for all.

Branding us a one man team, claiming all we have is a team of money grabbing mercenaries who don't play for the shirt. We have no soul and will never be as big as the rags, well they may be right with the later one. We have the potential to eventually be even bigger, our critics and opponents are either in awe of our new academy facilities or completely jealous and dismissive aka Jose Moronho who thinks Chelsea are the only club to produce successful youth players, apparently we don't?

I could go on and on but I'll leave it there as you get my drift, our lads really did do themselves, our club proud tonight. Tonight has to be up there with our title wins and cup wins, may not be as dramatic a feel but up there non the less. Pablo Zabaleta you never let us down and just keep on getting better and better, already a City Legend. Those 1500ish City fans were fantastic again as usual, for most of the match all I could hear were our fans in full voice, in not exactly a small stadium might I add.

If anyone fails to take us seriously now, they are either stupid or both stupid and bitter. Either way we don't care cos we're not really here. Special thanks to Samir Nasri, you rarely get the credit you deserve and have put those loud mouth Arsenal fans right in their place tonight.

Rat Face Gary Neville had us down for a 1-1 draw and possibly out of the Champions League, looking forward to his post match opinion.

Onwards and upwards, Comon City.

The Return Of The Real Edin Dzeko?

He always seemed to get pushed over easily by poor centre-backs in the Premier League. At the start of the season I was wondering why we signed him too a new four year deal and not sell his sorry backside too some German or Italian team that wanted him. I would have much rather we keep Negredo despite his slump in form, than keep Dzeko since he barely ever gives 100 percent, was always looking for fouls and was making mistakes constantly.

But today he showed me why we signed him until 2018, he's a top class forward when he wants to be and always seems to come up trumps in big games. Although he has his slumps and spurts he always shows up in crucial games.

Ex. v QPR Dezko scored the goal to make it 2-2

Ex. v Southampton Dezko scored a goal to make it 3-1 in a tight game that led us closer to title against a sharp Southampton side full of English promise.

Ex. v Crystal Palace Dezko scored and makes it 2-0 put us in front against Liverpool and into cruise control for the title.

Ex. v Everton Dezko scored another brace against Everton in the race for the title, a crucial game, was the last tough test in the title race

Ex. Dezko scored a brace against a stubborn Aston Villa side to win 4-0 which got us closer to the title.

Ex. Dezko gave us the lead against Hull 3-2 and scored a brace on the day to help us win a scrappy away game.

Hopefully this is start of the real Edin Dzeko and he can keep on scoring for fun.

Cheerio Mike Dean You?, Tata Back To London Mouronho And Your Dirty Band Of Cheats

Well well well, Mike Dean certainly did have it in for us tonight didn't he, he was like a dog on heat just waiting to shag a City stars leg or three with his cards out ready. He was more pumped up for this game than the entire two squads put together, it was like Mike Dean starring Mike Dean, Directed by Mike Dean.

Prior to the Chelsea game Diego Costa went on record stating that opponents have been targeting him and giving him a rough time, welcome to the English game you muppet. So Mr Costa do you think they should give you an easy ride and let you score goals for free?

It's clear from the first whistle that Diego Costa had full intention of getting City players booked, as did a few other Chelsea players I could mention. Didn't help that Mike Dean was blatantly in Mouronho's and Chelsea's back pocket, we showed tonight that we are true CHAMPIONS. We played against 12 men and kept them at bay until the 12th man aka Mike Dean sent off Zabman for nothing but the theatrics of Diego Costa, video reruns clearly show Zabaleta went for the ball and little contact was made with no malice. If anything Diego Costa knew Zabaleta was on a yellow card already and should have been sent off for violent conduct after his over reaction at a fair and innocent tackle.

Mouronho was centre stage in his technical area looking smug, oh wait a minute it's a master class coming up. The Engineer is sending on Frank fuming Lampard, oh dear what can the matter be, you're going to get stung by this bloody angry bee.

Step up Frank Lampard, man of the match for sticking two fingers up to Chelsea, Mouronho and that Russian and those smug Chelsea fans who thought they had it in the bag and was about to beat us with the help of a corrupt referee.

Thank you Mr Frank Lampard, you've made my day despite the two points lost. You deserved that goal and Chelsea deserved that slap in the face for dropping you like garbage, I hope you have a wonderful end to your career with New York City FC.

Well done lads for fighting in the face of adversity.

Message To Yaya Toure From A City Fan, Put Your Agent In His Place Or Request A Transfer Now

Dear Mr Yaya Toure,

I can't speak for all City fans but I can however speak for myself, after 30 odd years of support for Manchester City FC. It is not acceptable to force City fans to wait an entire World Cup to find out if this idiotic, money grabbing leech of an agent of yours is speaking the truth.

Lets say your agent is speaking the truth for a moment, then you need to get a grip, you just won the Barclay's Premier League for crying out loud. What more of a birthday present do you really want, your agent has mouthed off about your contribution to Manchester City FC demanding the club should show you more respect. There's no I in TEAM buddy, you had the club singing happy birthday on the plane to Abu Dhabi right?, what's more you all celebrated with cake too yes?

Lets say your agent was wrong to speak this rubbish on your behalf, then you need to sack the idiot right away and find a more mature and responsible agent. Either way you need to make a public statement now, confirming that your agent is either wrong or that you intend on leaving.

I'm open minded and like to believe that your agent's an idiot, and you did not in fact condone or authorise his interview with Sky Sports or any other media company. What you need to do now is show Manchester City FC and their fans some respect, after everything Manchester City have done for you to date.

Providing you and your brother Kolo Toure with the opportunity to play along side each other as team mates.

Giving you the opportunity of winning 2 Barclay's Premier League titles, 1 League Cup, 1 FA Cup and 1 FA Community Shield, how many times have you played at the most famous football stadium in the world Wembley?

How much money do you get paid each week?

You know very well that the Citizens respect you and appreciate your contribution to our club, we don't deserve to have to put up with your agent mouthing off or you making us wait.

I am aware you have stated via Twitter that we shouldn't believe anything that hasn't come from your mouth, your agent has dismissed your Twitter reply via Sky Sports.

There's no I in TEAM buddy, show us the respect we deserve, make a public statement before the World Cup ends. If you want to leave Manchester City then fine, the City faithful will wish you well so lets get this over with now.

Best regards

Jason TIOC

No Fear: Manchester City Fans Need Not Fear Financial Fair Play

Financial Fair Play?, designed to protect the European Elite Clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona etc. It has nothing to do with creating a level playing field, nor does it have anything to do with saving clubs from financial hardship. Lets say there was a club in the Europa League, who is suffering with huge debt and they've just broken Uefa's FFP rules. Ask yourself what Uefa would then do to that club, they certainly wouldn't be helping them now would they? NO, Uefa would fine that club and maybe even kick them out of European football altogether resulting in the club being in even more trouble.

The truth is they have allowed clubs like Man United to compete in Europe for over two decades, while mounting significant debt to keep them in Europe. Now how is it fair to bring about new rules, after you've allowed other clubs to get away with breaking those rules for decades?

Manchester City FC really do have nothing to worry about, the only reason we have accepted the sanctions are because City want to keep Uefa sweet. The sanctions themselves pose very little threat, but some would have you believe otherwise.

Before I start remember this, Manchester City FC will break even as of May 31st 2014.

Manchester City have received a sanction of a 60 million Euro fine, 40 million of which is suspended. City will have to forfeit 10 million Euros from any profit when competing in the 2013/14 Champions League campaign, and a further 10 million Euros forfeited in the 2014/15 Champions League campaign.

The next sanction is acceptable loss, Manchester City will only be allowed to make losses of 20 million Euros in 2013/14 and 10 million Euros in 2014/15. The reality is we will more than likely exceed breaking even from 2014 onwards, so it's highly unlikely to be a big deal.

As long as Manchester City achieve the break even limits imposed above, as well as stick to the transfer limit imposed which I'm about to cover below, Uefa will reduce the 60 million Euro fine to 20 million Euros thus wiping the 40 million Euros suspended.

Now you're all asking 'but what about the next transfer window, will City still be able to strengthen without any problems? My answer is Yes, we will be able to strengthen our squad in 2013/14. Manchester City have been imposed the limit of £49 million in 2013/14, Manchester City have no need to spend large amounts of money any more, we will capture the players we need for the next campaign and push on.

We will see two or more home grown talents promoted to the first team in 2014, which will put us in a healthier position. More than likely to be Emyr Huws, Marcos Lopes and Jordy Hiwula, all three have impressed over recent seasons and are now knocking on the first team changing room.

The last sanction is the player limit for the 2013/14 Champions League, Uefa have limited us to 21 players, 8 of whom have to be home grown. That would be Joe Hart, James Milner, Marcos Lopes, John Guidetti, Dredryk Boyata, (Gael Clichy as someone kindly pointed out), Emyr Huws and Jordy Hiwula, that is unless any of them are sold, in which case there is more talent in our academy as back up. Not to mention any profit made from the sale of Joleon Lescott or any other outgoing player, Micah Richards also on his way out.

2014/15 will see that limit lifted back to 25 players for European football, to be honest we only registered 23 players for the 2012/13 Champions League campaign anyway, in fact we only took 21 players due to injuries so no big deal.

Manuel Pellegrini: You Sir Are The Best Manager In The Barclay's Premier League

Manchester City and Manuel Pellegrini have been robbed in broad day light by the British media, football fans and players of opposing clubs, Managers of all four professional English leagues and by the Barclay's Premier League itself.

Today I had a Liverpool fan state that Manchester City should be banned from Europe, that City and Chelsea should be forced to play in their own league and leave the Premier League to everyone else. Apparently so the Premier League would become a level playing field once again?

The fact remains that before Chelsea than Manchester City upset the apple cart, Man United and Liverpool dominated English football, the English top flight was all too predictable and becoming stagnant and boring. So much so that it started to lose it's flair, as much as I hate them both. David Beckham was the start of the migration, Christiano Ronaldo and now Gareth Bale find themselves in Madrid, while England and English football suffered from youth level up, due to a Football Association incapable of doing their job.

Along came Chelsea to upset the balance of power, out come the bitter and jealous hate brigade to vent their anger and outrage. I lambasted those who attacked Chelsea myself, but since Chelsea fans jumped on the City hating band wagon my opinion of them has changed somewhat these days.

This was Manuel Pellegrini's first season in English football, he left his wife and children and entered a country completely unknown to him. He was about to embark on a journey like no other, to do battle with a manager he would never have the privilege to face.

Pellegrini entered a changing room in utter chaos, he was the man charged with the job to undo Roberto Mancini's devastating mess that led to an FA Cup defeat to Wigan Athletic, but more importantly the lose of the Barclay's Premier League crown to once bitter rival's Man United. City a team that previously had the best defence and the most lethal offence in England, the first memory is of Sergio Aguero's legendary last minute goal of the 2011/12 season.

He was charged with fixing the damage in English football with very little knowledge of how the English league ticks, clubs are often relegated for taking chances on unproven managers and coaches. Hell you only have to look at the mighty David Moyes to see even proven British managers can fail, compare Manuel Pellegrini with a David Moyes who led United out of Europe and you get my point.

The Engineer was about to depart on a journey that would see him break the record of Sir Matt Busby's famous Busby Babes, by out scoring and breaking the record set of most goals scored in a single season. Only the second team in English football to score more than 100 goals, in a single Barclay's Premier League season.

While Liverpool enjoyed the help given to them by the likes of Mark Clattenburg and co, the rest of the league were more interested in playing a World Cup match against Manchester City. Every club that faced Pellegrini's men, upped their game like a pack of wild dogs.

He not only turned Manchester City in to the most potent force in English football, but also made sure he had a solid defence. 165 goals scored in all competitions (not including the 1 goal scored in the Nelson Mandela Invitational), with 37 goals against in the Barclay's Premier League (only Chelsea have a better defencive record with 27 against due to Mourinho's defencive style).

Not only did Manuel Pellegrini in his first season achieve League Cup glory, but he also got the best out of all his players. BUT the most notable achievement I believe he made was, doing a domestic double without his most important players for most of the season.

Sergio Aguero missed 15 Premier League games
Vincent Kompany missed 10 Premier League games
David Silva missed 11 Premier League games
Matija Nastasic missed 25 Premier Leagues games
Joe Hart missed 7 Premier League games

There's only one absentee in Yaya Toure from that list and you have Manchester City's spine obliterated, which is why I believe Yaya deserved more credit. Also a victim of the British hate campaign against Manchester City. Even Luis Suarez voted for Yaya Toure, that says it all does it not.

Well well well Manchester City go on to be crowned Barclay's Premier League Champions of 2013/14, without most of their spine for a third of the league season. Breaking The Busby Babes record of most goals scored in a season, lifts the League Cup and gets to the last 16 of the Champions League. And who goes and wins all awards? Liverpool and Brendon Rodgers.

Let's put this into perspective shall we, A club that first and foremost didn't have the burden of European football to contend with. A club that sat safely in 7th place in the league, with a decent squad of proven talent. They were never in fear of relegation unlike Tony Pulis and Crystal Palace, it was only a matter of time before they were back in the top 4 anyway with the finances they have. No longer in debt thanks to their new sugar daddies.

So what has media darling Brendon Rodgers done exactly to deserve Manager of the Year?

He took a Premier League club from 7th to second after buying: Daniel Sturridge, Kolo Toure, Luis Alberto, Iago Aspas, Phillipe Coutinho, Mamadio Sakho, Aly Cissokho, Victor Moses and Simon Mignolet, and got them knocked out of the League Cup and FA Cup, had no Champions League football to deal with and got Liverpool to second.

Even Tony Pulis deserved to be Manager of the Year ahead of this Brendon Rodgers guy, it just goes to show that the English Premier League may be the best league in the world, more recently thanks to Manchester City FC. But it's governed , run and supported by a majority of bitterly twisted and jealous people, Patrick Vieira is correct, Rodgers doesn't deserve the award of LMA Manager of the Year.

The country I've grown up in for 38 years has gone utterly mad, City have done nothing that clubs like Liverpool and United have not done or are doing. From the first day footballers were paid a couple of shillings to kick a ball (that's 5 pence to a Shilling, 20 Shilling's to a Pound), football has been all about money. United and Liverpool had more than anyone else, hence their domination for so many decades.

Manuel Pellegrini, you Sir are the best Manager in England, you got the best out of Samir Nasri. You turn Yaya Toure loose to be only the second midfielder to score 20 goals in the Premier League. Beat Sir Matt Busby's once unbeaten record, achieved a domestic double and took Manchester City further in Europe. You don't need no pathetic award to prove it.

THE ENGINEER, THE LEGEND.

Liverpool Tried To Buy The Title Since 2004, Manchester City Deserves The Title.

As sick to death as I am of hearing us being accused of buying the title, I have to admit yes we did buy the title like any other club in the history of football has. From the first day a professional footballer was paid a wage, titles have been won by spending money.

The fact we bought the title meaning nothing, we deserved to win the title because we were the best team over the entire season. Proof that Liverpool tried to buy the Barclay's Premier League title since ?, well judging by their current first team since 2004 but in reality it goes way beyond 2004.

PFA, FWA Awards Are A Sham, Message To Yaya Toure To Stick It Too Them Once And For All And Help City To The Title.

The Barclay's Premier League isn't even over yet, and nasty cheating piece of work Luis Suarez has already been awarded PFA and football writers player of the season. It stinks of Gareth Bale's and Ryan Giggs's last awards, despite the fact they achieved nothing with their parent clubs in terms of trophies or titles in the same season they received the controversial awards.

The PFA and FWA awards are a total sham, lets face the fact here shall we. It's no real surprise Yaya Toure was nominated to save face but ignored in the end, I mean you can't really ask Supporters, Manager's, Player's and Writer's of opposing clubs to support a Manchester City player now can you. The fact is most clubs in England hate Manchester City to the core, just like they hated Chelsea when Abramovich started pumping millions into the club.

City's players are always going to be over looked, especially when our rivals are Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal or any other long established club including the likes of Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

My advice to Yaya Toure is to help Manchester City win the Barclay's Premier League title, and stick it to the PFA, FWA, Premier League and opposing clubs once and for all. End it with a BANG!

Mixed Feelings On Loaning Out Manchester City's Young Talent To British Football

Although John Guidetti isn't an Academy or EDS player any more, his on field progression has been hampered by what I believe is a lack of belief in the lad by Mark Hughes. While his situation at Stoke has appeared to teach Guidetti patience is important, I don't believe his stint with the Potter's has improved his game much.

Loan Success?   4/10

Looking at the bigger picture we have quite a few future prospects out on loan, but my beef is that they're not getting enough game time and half the time end up picking up niggling injuries and sometimes serious injury. So is it really worth sending our young lads out on loan to the lower combative leagues of British football?

Lets face that fact that none of our youth have come back better off after being loaned out to British clubs for as long as I can remember, I'd challenge anyone to prove me wrong on this and Joe Hart can't be used as an example because he was already a success before joining Birmingham.

Championship side Birmingham City currently fighting relegation, who have two of our lads on loan to date, Our Welsh International Midfielder Emyr Huws has impressed and held down a place but recently suffered a severe cut to his head thanks to Jason Lowe of Blackburn Rovers (No surprise there aye). The loan spell of Albert Rusnak however has been far from helpful, he's been out on loan since the 21st January 2014.

However our 19 year old Dutch Centre Back Karim Rekik is out on loan at PSV Eindhoven, he's impressed and held down a place well with reports claiming he's attracted attention from a host of European clubs.

OK OK English football is a man's game blah blah blah, but the fact of the matter is our talented youth or not yet men. So why ship them out to our tough tackling lower leagues only to be kicked around the playing field? Wouldn't it be more productive to send them out to less physical leagues in and around Europe while advise them to work on their Physical strength?

Our England Midfielder George Evans has had an unsuccessful Loan out to Crewe Alexandra, after initially impressing at the start of his loan spell. While our 20 year old England Winger Alex Henshall has had a mixed loan spell out at Ipswich Town.

All the talk has been of how Manchester City are ruining young players careers, the fact is City are not the problem at all. Which brings me to our little sister club New York City FC, I believe her to be a good alternative for our youth to develop better, quicker and faster. I even believe Germany, Portugal and Spain to be better options at earlier stages in our youth development.

City ruining young players careers has been based on Adam Johnson  Jack Rodwell, Scott Sinclair and co by narrow minded morons, players who never came through our youth system and players who clearly failed to make an impact on our senior side due to either laziness and arrogance (Adam Johnson), through unfortunate injury (Jack Rodwell) or not being good enough or City (Scott Sinclair).

Something definitely needs to be done to improve our loan progression, if we are to get our youth to push on and up their potential enough to impact our senior side and make the grade. Loaning them out to any club in a league lower than the Championship is just not good enough for a start (no disrespect to those leagues clubs), when they can get the same if not more experience in our EDS side playing European youth football.

What do you think?

Is Dani Alves Naive And Reckless?, City Have To Avoid Last Three Huge Banana Skins

First of all before I embark on Brazilian International Defender Dani Alves, it must be stressed that I am in no way racist and I support Kick It Out 100%. So lets talk about what I believe is both naive and reckless, a Banana was recently thrown in the direction of FC Barcelona's Dani Alves. His response was to pick up the Banana, peel back the skin and start eating it, what message he was trying to send is any ones guess.

Vincent Kompany's wife and a radio presenter as far as I'm aware, praised Alves for what she believes was a positive action against Racism?. I don't believe eating the Banana proves anything or makes any kind of statement against Racism.

All this does is open up the opportunity for some low life scum bag to cause serious harm, Alves was lucky that Banana wasn't laced with drugs or poison. Lets not believe that every football player on the planet has intelligence and an education, I sincerely hope that no other player ever attempts the same level of stupidity that Alves performed.

Yes I do have a hidden agenda here, after Alves insulted our club in the run up to our first leg against FC Barcelona not so long ago. But that doesn't mean I'm wrong, and he certainly does deserve criticism for his actions.

On that note Alves has been linked with a move to Manchester City on too many occasions for my liking, I sincerely hope he never arrives and gets the opportunity to play for us. Long gone are the days when we bought in over the hill veterans, I do not want to see this happen for City any more.

Sooooo EVERTON, Aston Villa and West Ham? Lets face the fact that they are all good teams able to throw a spanner in the works. Three Banana skins we need to avoid, but who poses the biggest threat?

Despite Everton being our bogey team I'd say Aston Villa is the biggest of the three remaining matches for us. Followed by West Ham United purely based on the fact they are both still not safe from relegation just yet, but all that may change. Everton however are in a tricky situation, as on the one hand they are trying to pinch the last Champions League spot from Arsenal. On the other hand they would have to do Liverpool a huge favour in the title race and be credited by Liverpool should they win the title, that would hurt any clubs fans. This has to be the most competitive title race in my 38 year life time, if City win this seasons title it has to go down as the greatest ever title win in Premier League history.

So I don't think we have any easy games at all, but we have a squad more than capable of winning all three without any doubt and our lads are well up for it.

Keep the Faith!

Our Season Still A Success Despite Loss to Clattenburg FC And Possibly No Title

It doesn't get any more simple than the fact luck ran out on us, unlucky that Micah Richards would clash with our captain Kompany in training. Unlucky that Yaya would depart with an injury at the most important point in our title chasing campaign, Unlucky that we had our top goal scorer out for most of the season, I honestly believe that if Aguero never got injured he would have blown Sturridge and Suarez away and we may have well have already wrapped up the title.

Come the end of the season if it wasn't to be then we can thank one person for that, his name is Mark Clattenburg who has to be the worst referee to ever officiate for the English top flight. If anyone it was Clattenburg that beat Manchester City and not Liverpool, if they win the title Liverpool can thank their lucky stars Clattenburg helped them win it.

Keys decisions that went against Manchester City were the failed sending off of Luis Suarez for diving, after an initial yellow card for a prior offence. The failed booking of Sakho for his dangerous tackle on Dzeko, resulting in no penalty despite the fact Dzeko went down easy to avoid an injury.

Then there was Henderson's two footed challenge on Milner which was absolutely disgraceful despite Henderson making contact with the ball. It was clear to see Henderson was intending to follow through on Milner, as he quietly fist punched the air with a 'take that' expression.  This is one reason why the likes of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales will never achieve anything, English, British players have no respect for each other's well being and allow loyalty to their club to cloud their better judgement.

And last but not least the dirtiest player currently plying his trade in the top flight, step up to the plate Mr Skrtel. How he gets away with it all the time is beyond baffling, it's like watching UFC and football at the same time. Then came the blatant hand ball incident where he punched the ball away from Garcia if I recall correctly, thus resulting in a second penalty call that Clattenburg failed to officiate correctly.

But at the end of the day apparently these things even themselves out during the course of a season, something I'm not quite sure is true when at times it can cost a club a title or survival but hey ho there you go.

On the upside we're about to smash Man  United's 51 year old record set by the Busby Babes, all we need is two more goals and we enter the record book as the club who scored the most goals in a single season.

We have some promising young players about to try break into the first team over the next season or two, most notably Dutch Left Central Defender Karim Rekik,  should Clichy or Kolarov depart, or if Lescott leaves and we don't replace him then Rekik will do just fine. Welsh Midfielder Emyr Huws also, Huws will count towards our home grown quota and has impressed of late and looks a promising young player indeed.

Poor officiating continues to be something that is top of my agenda to date, but I'm not going to let them ruin the entire season for me and I'll look on the bright side instead as should you. I just hope our club can weed out the weak ones and replace with competent, name no names and excluding those who have had horrid times with injury.

Mistakes were made and our luck ran out but the title fight is not over yet and there's still hope, so I'll prepare myself for next season while I watch the end of the show but should we fail to top the league there's always next season.

With that covered I must say Brendan  Rodgers claims that Liverpool are doing it the right way are both naive, ignorant and unintelligent to say the least. Liverpool have spent millions over the last so many seasons under the radar of Chelsea, Manchester City & Man United. IF they win the title then to suggest they won it the right way, would be ludicrously incorrect and ignorant. In fact once they qualify for the Champions League, I'll be watching how they cope with the FFP considering the financial mess they are in off the field.

Until then lets enjoy the fact our owner has helped us take yet another step towards financial sustainability with the development of our EDS and Under 18's teams flourishing with top young talent.

Improved progression in Europe, yet another season of Champions League football. A League Cup in the cabinet, A good manager in Mr Pellegrini who has had a full season to work out who does and who doesn't cut the mustard. Two competent men at the helm who know what they're doing and continue to improve us, as well as our stadium being built larger to accommodate growing demand for season cards and still our fans get more value for money than any other club in the country.

It's only a matter of time before we get it right without the help of luck and with the ability to beat official's like Clattenburg and Co on a regular basis.

P.s. If you think Sturridge is good, wait until you see who else we've produced at youth level.

Hart Should Press Criminal Charges Against Boyd, City Should Appeal Kompany's Wrongful Red Card

Manchester City have lately been on the receiving end of some piss poor officiating, the latest being Lee Mason officiating the Hull match. Vinny Kompany was fouled in the build up to his sending off and Manchester City FC should appeal the red card that should never have been had Mason done his job right in the first place.

Proof Vinny shouldn't have been sent off.

With that said Joe Hart should press criminal charges against Hull's George Boyd for spitting in Harts face, this is a criminal offence and the disgusting low life Boyd should be punished.

Boyd spits in Hart's face after diving to get Hart booked, he succeeded in getting Joe Hart booked and Lee Mason yet again proved he's a piss poor referee.

I hope both Joe and the Club do not lets these incidents pass them by without acting swiftly, to have those in the wrong punished and get jusitce for Joe and Vinny.

The Pellegrini Puzzle, Hodgson's Friendlies, Ferguson And The Fraggle's, Lets All Laugh At Tottenham

Have to admit I was extremely sceptical when Manuel Pellegrini was first linked with replacing Mancini, that was until I got to know the man via anything I could lay my eyes on from the voices of fans from his previous clubs, to records and information on who is Manuel Pellegrini.

You have probably all read enough to make your own minds up on Pellegrini, but I have looked more into the man himself as opposed to his football education and success. The man is a technical thinker as are all successful civil engineers, not someone who rushes into things too quickly unless absolutely sure of themselves. A laid back man with realistic ambition, who demands nothing less than the best from himself with the tools he has at his disposal.

He may not be successful in the title and trophy department but, he definitely makes up for that in the man management department with great experience earned under previous employers. A weathered man that I'm betting will achieve great things under people like Sheikh Mansour and Txiki Begiristain at Manchester City FC, equally I honestly believe Manchester City would be lucky to have this great man at the helm, though only time will tell if Manchester City can unlock the Pellegrini puzzle to achieve the continued success we crave.

International friendlies?, never liked them, agreed with them or care for them. They just act as a platform for picking up unnecessary injuries, who in the end has to pick up the pieces? the domestic mother club of course.

As far as I'm concerned International friendlies are purely an extra money making scheme for domestic football associations, they serve no other purpose because great players don't need a couple stupid friendlies to prove they can play together.

Chelsea crumbled under the FA's plea, now Hodgson wants Spurs and more importantly Manchester City to follow Chelsea's lead in releasing players for these stupid and needless friendlies. I say tell them to jog on.

I'm English before anyone questions my motive here, I'm also patriotic but as far as I'm concerned Manchester City always comes first. After all City are paying the players wages and City have to deal with the unnecessary injures sometimes resulting in players missing the start of upcoming seasons etc.

Hilarious how Ferguson comes out in defence of Roberto Mancini, clearly he saw Mancini's weaknesses and thought Roberto staying would have been in United's best interest. United's inbred fans are carbon copies of each other.

They are flooding the Mail Online among other sites in support of Mancini, bad mouthing our club for sacking him. Hidden agenda if there ever was one, the Fraggle's are just hacked off because Manchester City have moved another step closer to dominating English football. (Didn't even mention the fact Manchester City FC now own an MLS Franchise aka New York City FC). If that wasn't bad enough United also have Chelsea to deal with who are ready to open the cheque book to mount a challenge for next seasons title. David Moyes can't be instilling much belief in the Fraggle fan base right now, I mean what has he ever won apart from one weak Scottish league title?

United fans were against Mancini when he joined Manchester City, saying how rubbish he was especially being a failure in Europe, that was until Manchester City snatched the league title right out of Uniteds hands on the last day of the 11/12 season. Now they're all defending him (that wouldn't have anything to do with them thinking it would have been better for United if he'd stayed now would it).

Rewind back too that day when the Spudyids pipped us to a Champions League place not so long ago, then came all the stuck up gloating and mouthing off. For all the dislike I have for Arsenal and their pitiful fan base, I must thank them for scraping through to claim the last Champions League place at the expense of Trottingham Rottenspuds.

What goes around, always does come around. Oh what a difference a day makes, well done to Norwich for capitalising on our poor end of season.

Appreciation for the Legend That Is Roberto Mancini

This is our City would like to thank Mr Roberto Mancini and his team for all their hard work on behalf of all the City fans wishing them well, myself included. They deserve nothing less than respect for helping drag us out of mid table mediocrity, establishing us as a Champions League team and gifting us memories we will cherish, memories we will one day share with our children and grand children.

Most notably devastatingly and utterly destroying United on their own soil in front of their own fans, as well as utterly embarrassing United on the last day of the season by defeating QPR to put the rags back in their place. Those days will live long in the memories of us established City fans, who have had to live with the rags for decades.

Thank you for bringing us Nastasic.

Mr Roberto Mancini, you are the Legend that put Alex Ferguson in his place and taught the Scot a lesson.

Respect!

P.s. all the best for the future, enjoy your well earned profitable fortune.

Onwards and Upwards!

Perspective Needed But Gutted & Annoyed Doesn't Even Describe How I Felt After FA Cup Loss

Yesterday I had a Gig to DJ so missed the FA Cup final, my job in a way requires me to be upbeat and happy. It turned out to be a very long night after witnessing the long and disappointed face of a young City fan arriving in his City shirt and scarf. When I got chance I approached him and said "chin up lad there's always next year and you're not alone" after checking the score on my phone, his reply was "your a City fan too" with a smile. (Southern based City fans you see, we're in small numbers down here).

Should Roberto Mancini lose his job?

There are those who wish him sacked and those who are die hard fans wishing him to stay, then there are those in between like me who are neither die hard or wanting him sacked. From the start I was a die hard Mancini fan, I even bought a metal Mancini portrait badge for my City badge collection. Despite our recent humble success under the Sheikh Mansour era, I found myself losing faith little by little in Roberto.

30 odd years of supporting Manchester City though has taught me to have a little more perspective, we have seen far too many managers at Manchester City for mine and many other City fans liking. Although this season has been a complete disaster in terms of winning any silverware, we do still have Champions League football to look forward too next season. A consolation prize I guess you could call it for a promise of more and a gift of less, I do believe however that despite Mancini's naive tactics, strange substitutions and bad timing, he does deserve to at least get one more season with a successful summer transfer window to prove he is the man to continue to take us forward. I'd like to credit this seasons failure to Brian Marwood for failing to land a replacement for Nigel Dejong, as well as not performing well enough in the transfer market.

You could also lay blame on Mancini not giving John Guidetti a chance, but if Marwood did his job right we probably wouldn't have even needed to play Guidetti. On that note I think Mancini could have at least given Guidetti a chance out on the wing, one area in which we desperately need out and out wing men. Something Wigan capitalised on in the final, our players rely heavily on cutting inside all the time. Dzeko has suffered due to our lack of wingers who can whip in aerial balls, Dzeko is so strong in the air and I think we would be silly to let him leave (that is unless he wants to leave himself anyway).

Certain players need to have a good look at themselves and ask whether they deserve their wages, one thing we lack as football intelligence in all positions, I understand Mancini has to take some of the blame for not motivating well enough pitch side but the team should be more than capable of thinking as a team and adapting to changes in the oppositions play.

I'm avoiding the fall out of the FA Cup to ease the disappointment as I am sure some of you are too, one thing that does concern me though is this Manuel Pellegrini rumour spreading like wildfire. I admit I don't know much about him other than a report that he knows a few languages including Argentinian and Spanish. Just one glance at his achievements as a manager makes me think 'Why?' He has achieved hardly anything worth shouting about so I pray it's just a sick joke of a rumour.

On that note this may or may not be my last article of the season but, I have a very busy period approaching so will be taking a break from winding up the rags and typing rubbish for you all to waste your time on lol.

Looking forward to the transfer window, hopefully our club can finally get it right with Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano in charge.

TIOC's Future Predictions, Who Will We Sign And Who's Heading For The Door

We all like to discuss our clubs weaknesses and requirements each and every season, this season I believe we lack width in our game relying on wing backs to get forward far too much in my opinion.

The last time I remember us having any width were when we had Shauny Wright Phillips, Martin Petrov and Craig Bellamy a few seasons ago, Bobby Manc doesn't seem to prefer wide players which is backed up by facts like he never utilised Scott Sinclair, over saw the exit of  the above three players without replacing them not including Vladimir Weiss leaving.

Don't take this as a rant against Bobby because he has my complete support but that doesn't mean I have to agree with everything he says and does, I'm holding out for hope that he will realise we have to have width in our game with out and out wing men on board.

So with that said are we strongly linked with any players capable of playing on the wing?

Adam Maher: 19 year old Dutch Attacking Midfielder, not an out and out winger but more likened to David Silva, extremely talented young player that we are heavily linked with but not the answer to our lack of width.

Christian Eriksen: 21 year old Danish Attacking Midfielder, again not an out and out winger but is comfortable playing on the wing. A technically gifted player and one that would give us width, but would still lack that killer aerial crossing skill. One plus side to Eriksen is, that he has desire to move to and play for Manchester City if the media are to be believed.

Omar AbdulRahman(21, Emirati), Alexis Sanchez (24, Chilean) & Marco Reus (23, German)can all play on the wing and have all been linked with Manchester City. Rahman is well documented but is more likened to Yaya Toure but with the quick skill of a Spaniard. We are all aware of Sanchez currently playing for FC Barcelona and Reus for Bortmund. If I were Bobby I'd go for Reus, Eriksen and Rahman but we will have to wait and see. It ain't official until our official site says so.

BUT who would they replace?, my answer is Scott Sinclair, Samir Nasri and Roque Santa Cruz, yes hes still on our books. All of who have failed to make an impact, be consistent or have no chance of being part of City's future, You could defend Sinclair's corner with Bobby's reluctance to pick Sinclair, but then have you thought of why Bobby hasn't picked him much?

On to FORWARDS and we come to Edin Dzeko, apparently not happy at his rotation duty, the media did their part by labelling him a bench warming impact player. Unsure whether he really does want to leave, I'd hate to see him leave unless we captured Stevan Jovetic (23, Montenegron), Marco Reus or Edinson Cavani (26, Uruguayan)another Forward we have been linked with. Whether either arrive is any ones guess.

We lost Balotelli who wasn't replaced, whether that had anything to do with us having John Guidetti back from injury and fit is again any ones guess but, Bobby Manc not giving Guidetti a chance is another mystery we probably won't get an answer too. With that said the media recently had Guidetti down as being used as bait to entice certain clubs to come to the table and sell their players, whether there's any truth in it remains to be seen.

Then we have DEFENDERS, Kolo Toure is the first to leave after confirming he will look to move in the Summer with a view to staying on in England because his family are settled here. Maicon and his father have confirmed he is happy and will be staying at City, Micah Richards is a difficult one so my jury is out but if I had to speculate and can't see him leaving. I believe Javi Garcia has failed to make a big enough impact to warrant a stay with us, worst thing we ever did was let go of Nigel Dejong and Garcia was never going to do a better job. Ok Dejong hit a poor patch but any player would have after the witch hunt he endured at the hands of that crummy little scumbag media and club Newcastle United.

Aleksandar Kolarov a good attacking fullback but never going to be a great, defensively a poor defender and I just don't see his future at City beyond this season. Joleon Lescott's contract is coming to an end as he looks to try keep hold of his place in the England setup, he will likely seek another club in the summer unless City decide to give him a short contract extension which will depend on City capturing replacements first so who are we strongly linked with?

Kyriakos Papadopoulos (21, Greek), Mat Hummels (24 German), Raphael Varane (20, French), Varane would be an ideal replacement for Dejong and Garcia more importantly. He is also capable of playing in his usual position at central defence, you would think with the rise of Nastasic and the solid Kompany that Papadopoulos and Hummels would hesitate on a move to City but that would be silly considering Manchester City only have Clichy as a recognised worthy left back.

Nastasic is more than capable of filling in at left back, an idea I believe could open up more of his potential. Papadopoulos would be the more likely to arrive based on the fact Hummels would probably prefer a move to a more established side like Bayern or Real Madrid.

So TIOC's (wish) predictions are as follows:

Out: Garcia, Kolo, Kolarov, Nasri, Sinclair, Bridge and Santa Cruz

In: Varane, Papadopoulos, Eriksen, Cavani, Reus or AbdulRahman

We Don't Care What The Outsiders Think, To Care Shows Weakness

Do you honestly care what outsiders think about us City fans and Manchester City FC?, I certainly don't that's for sure.

In the wake of  the totally blown out of proportion clash between Bobby Manc and Balotelli at City's training ground, we see newspapers and media outlets jumping on the bandwagon. Claiming such words like negativity and disruption but to who exactly?

The latest idiot to wade in is Old Red Nose, Bacon Face over in Trafford, claiming his training ground restricts access to prevent such a scenario. While that may be true United had their fair share of negativity in the past by allowing the media access to United's Carrington training ground, that's right he acts all Mr perfect but he too often ended up in the papers due to training ground incidents. Hypocrites United aye!

I personally fully support media access to our training ground, so what if there's the show of negativity?. Life is not without its ups and downs in all walks, especially in sport considering those athletes are also only human themselves.

You can argue it gives the club bad press, a negative tag, it could affect moral and act as a warning sign to future targets in the transfer market. But I'd label you narrow minded and unrealistic with a lack of common sense, all football clubs around the world have their fair share of training ground incidents and none are immune to problems. When players move on they are not interested in whats happened on a training ground before they arrived, all clubs gather bad press in some way or another so none of this is new.

Over at the swamp they love hiding behind doors only to save face and pretend to look the perfect poxy club, they are a club that have lost their soul and their ways are ignorant to the world outside of sport.

We all new Balotelli was a fire cracker before he even joined us so why expect any different, the world are interested in what is going on at Manchester City so why not show them?

The only people branding it negative are people who hate Manchester City or who are worried about what other people think. It's not like we should have to change just to accommodate them is it, let them mouth off all they want and get on with it.

We have better things to deal with like taking another title off the pathetic club over in Trafford and the upcoming FA Cup games.

Time to shine Mr Balotelli, get your act in gear!

Manchester Deserved To Beat 15 Man Norwich, The FA Manipulate Referees To Do Their Bidding

Here at This is our City I do not mix my words, nor do I care if people disagree or have a problem with what I say so on to more pressing matters that be the Norwich match and yet another display of damn right ludicrous one sided officiating.

That's right from the off Manchester City were not only up against a referee favouring Norwich, but also against a Norwich team allowed to push and shove us around the pitch without any action from officials.

I'm a big fan of the old English style football with a shoulder barge or nice clean rough tackle, but what I saw for a whole 95 minutes at Norwich was just completely and utterly out of order.

Samir Nasri had every right to react to a challenge that usually injures a player, yet Nasri gets sent off for reacting and that nasty piece of work Bassong gets nothing but a yellow card. Bassong went in knowing he was out to take both Nasri out and the ball, if he ever suggests otherwise I'd challenge his honour and give him a slap for lying.

Then there were Pablo Zabaleta deliberately shoved in the back, no penalty awarded for the blatant infringement in Norwich's penalty area. All over the park our players were subjected to a barrage of over the top push and shoves, shirting pulling etc, the referee had no intention but to play advantage Norwich any given chance he got.

When one of our players went down under a hefty foul, the referee waved play on. Though whenever a Norwich player went down under a fair tackle, the referee blew for a free kick.

I have lost count of how many times an opponents player has dragged the ball back in play knowing full well it was out of play. If that ain't a blatant act of cheating then what is.

Have to admit our defending is utterly shocking and totally baffles the hell out of me, to go from best defence in the league to a shambles. But there is absolutely no doubt what so ever that our fans and players deserved all three points tonight.

This was a performance we City fans want to see week in week out, minus the shambolic defending and red card.

Well done lads!

Message to Norwich and their fans!

Suck the loss up and take your City hating opinions and shove it where the sun don't shine. Hope you have a very unhappy new year.

Bring on the next bunch of City hating cretins.

TIOC Backs Maicon, Will Prove You Critics Wrong, Book: The Fall Of The Young Guvnor's

Every time I read about Maicon, the idiotic author just can't resist having a dig using the over rated Gareth Bale as ammunition. On the night Tottenham Hotspur met Inter Milan, Milan were naive and played right into Spurs hands.

Maicon was let down by his Inter team mates on that night, a very poor Inter were nothing but average. He was left to cover at right back on his own, having no choice but to either track the Spurs player running wide while Bale made his run inside or vice verse (no single player in the world can defend against two players no matter how good they are).

Which leads me to continue to make the same statement: Douglas Maicon is still a world class defender despite losing a foot in pace, saying that I believe Roberto Mancini drafted Maicon in knowing that he could help him regain the level of fitness and pace needed to reignite his career.

At £3 million Manchester City have bagged a bargain, I have total and utter faith that Bobby Manc will work his magic once again and continue to do so for many more seasons. When the media were peddling us chasing the signature of Mr Bale, I prayed to mother earth and pretty much every single god or demi god that it would turn out to be nothing but a fabrication. (Boy was I Happy when the window shut!)

To end with "What has Gareth Bale done since?  NOTHING

As I typed out this article Aleksandar Kolarov had just owned and humiliated Gareth Bale as Serbia thumped Wales 6 - 1, Chelsea's Ivanovic also humiliated Bale by dispossessing him and beating Wales team mate Ricketts down the right and set up Serbia team mate Tadic for a simple finish.

If you are considering betting on Man City vs Stoke City I recommend checking out Luxbet Soccer Betting who are backed by TABCorp (who also have pretty good EPL odds!

The Young Guvnors by Rodney Rhoden

The book makes for an interesting read taking you on a journey through the eyes of British football hooliganism, it's ultimately about the fall of the firm but takes you on a journey from start to finish.

Rodney Rhoden gives you his account of the Young Guvnors fighting up and down the country against rival firms, seeking as much as defending and as the introduction states 'to say it is not a pleasant story is an understatement'.

'From the formation in the mid 1980s when organised football hooliganism was at its all time high, it's a vicious account of how they operated - their bloody battles with opposing mobs and ultimately their demise'.
