Liverpool Tried To Buy The Title Since 2004, Manchester City Deserves The Title.

As sick to death as I am of hearing us being accused of buying the title, I have to admit yes we did buy the title like any other club in the history of football has. From the first day a professional footballer was paid a wage, titles have been won by spending money.

The fact we bought the title meaning nothing, we deserved to win the title because we were the best team over the entire season. Proof that Liverpool tried to buy the Barclay's Premier League title since ?, well judging by their current first team since 2004 but in reality it goes way beyond 2004.

    1. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that we won the title with money, because we also won it with pride, passion, team ethic, the best attacking and attractive football in English football (2013/14 statistics and performances prove it). It doesn't matter how many Englishman we had in our team, but lets just point out for a moment that City have 7 England Internationals. 2 of which are going to Brazil for the World Cup. I couldn't care less, I just wanted to point out how ignorant, incorrect and blinkered you all are. It doesn't matter how much Liverpool paid compared to Manchester City, the fact remains Liverpool bought the majority of their squad too with cold hard cash. You can all sugar coat it however you like, bottom line you tried to buy the title so suck it up.

    2. Why does it bother you that I wrote this article?, I'll answer it for you. Because I'm right and none of your crumby Liverpool fan base like it.

  2. 16 of Liverpool's first team including their first 11 were bought in the last 4 years.

BUT... other teams such as Liverpool didn't effectively CHEAT by completely ignoring the rules on spending resulting in a 50 MIL fine from the CL and future squad limitations as City have.
In my opinion you should be banned from the competition for that arrogance alone. Start your own league with Chelski and leave everyone to enjoy a level playing field again. The most expensive sporting team on Earth winning the league EVERY year will only destroy the game for GENUINE fans of the SPORT.

    1. Liverpool and United have dominated English football for decades, how was that ever a level playing field. Jog on you deluded little P. You're just upset Manchester City have stolen your thunder and we are absolutely loving it. :D
