Gary Cook Issue Overshadowing Real Threat Of United Fans insighting Violence Between Napoli And City

With all due respect to all parties I believe issues have been dealt with in the same way our British justice system works, in an absolutely shambolic way.

I have never been a big fan of Gary Cook but I understand the position he is in, my email account had been hacked once and I lost access to a linked account also. I even had a friend lose his email account too and everyone in his address book including me received some strange and disgusting mail, did I instantly get on the phone and start publicly slating him?

Like I said with all due respect to all parties, I recently lost my dad to cancer and have to say it was the hardest time of my life, Nedum Onuoha's head must be well and truly in a twist by now stuck between his mother and his club.

OK Mr Cook may well be guilty but who are set to really lose out in this mess?, only our club and Nedum Onuoha are set to lose if anyone.

I wish Dr Anthonia Onuoha and her son all the best for the future and sincerely hope they and our club do not suffer anymore from this mess, but believe it should have been dealt with in a more professional and discrete manner.

I for one am happy that Nedum has not left Manchester City and I believe my Aunt Tracy is also, I have always had high hopes for Ned from the day he broke through our academy and wish him the best of luck. Ned is a credit to his mother and I hope he is here with us for seasons to come.

All this threatens to over shadow what could turn out to be a real disaster, we play Napoli and right now United fans have been encouraging Italians to attack our fellow fans. Has the damage been done already and are all parties doing everything they can to reverse the damage?

I believe our UK Police force do a good job but I have never been completely in support, they get it wrong at times and probably will never gain my full confidence.

Lets hope both Napoli and Manchester City do whatever it takes to stop these inbred United fans from causing more trouble, lets hope both Napoli and Manchester are trouble free on a historic night for both clubs.

Mate, Gary Cook has done what everybody does at least once in their lives.... forward on an email to a colleague along with a "humorous" comment....and forget to take off the original party....i.e Mrs Onouha.

He will be lucky to get away with this as why would anybody else make any effort to send this email. Secondly, he has claimed that somebody internal is being punished for this....I suspect that person is himself.

My Cook faces the sack.... It may be a way for the owners to finaly dispense of his services very cheaply...gross misconduct....if they want to.

The email can not be described as anything but rude and inconsiderate. However; I tend to question the timing of it. It was sent 11 months ago, and with Nedum current situation with Mancini and Kia as his agent, it is hard to ignore the motive. Do not get me wrong, I really like Nedum and believe he is a valuable asset to our team and should be given the chance

I`m gutted about this business with Nedum`s Mum. The lad is one of us, and has always given his all for City, regardless of any opinions if he`s good enough. They say there`s no such thing as bad publicity, but I`m afraid we just found an exception. I sincerely hope GC hasn`t lied about his involvement or lack of it. I agree with Cityblue, and also wish Nedum and his family nothing but good things.

As for these scum fans (and I don`t use that word to describe United), I`m just glad this story has found it`s way into the national press to highlight what is simply disgusting behaviour. It is no exaggeration to think it could cost an ordinary supporter their life, and the police should track down and prosecute those responsible.

It isn`t a difficult task to follow an IP address, and a standard must be set. In fact a standard has been set. 4 years prison time was recently given to a convicted riot inciting facebook user. These complete morons deserve nothing less.

Like all City fans, I cannot wait to get stuck into the coming champions league fixtures, and relish the fact we have 3 great clubs coming to visit us and take us on. I hope some of supporters club branches have done their bit to let these opponents know all we want to do is enjoy their cities, and enjoy watching City win.

Cook has been great for the club and it would be very harsh if he is sacked. The club should also follow up why it has taken 11 months for this to be reported. Something is fishy here and I am afraid to say Nedum side is using this inexcusable email for pollitcal motives [definitely Kia has a hand behind it].

Guilty until proven guilty in your eyes then, thats the problem with the world today, way to many know it alls, judges and hypocrites.

Cityblue said hes not a fan and I am not a fan of Cook either and if hes guilty then he will pay a price but don't be roped into this witch hunt before the man has a chance to prove otherwise.

dont you think the timing of this leaves a nasty smell of rags on the day when the footballing world was about to read how vile some rags are we get a story out of the blue about cook and look what paper it was in. I know this because the story about rags pretending to be blues was offerd to all newspapers before GMP were involved still no sign of it in the paper that prints garbage from ian wright lets not jump on the bandwagon about cook i for one dont think he is that daft to send a vile email i think the truth about this email lies closer to stretford than ancoats. just like to wish ned and his mam all the very best in what can only be described as a terrible time in your lives good luck god bless

My biggest fear is that Cook has attempted to cover tracks with lies. Poor Garry needs to understand City is not America, or a corrupt administration.

Personally speaking, I hope we can find a way to keep the fella as he has done a brilliant job, but if he`s found to be a liar, he`s in a world of pain.

He would have earned respect if he`d come clean, apologised publicly, and made a sizeable donation to a charity of Dr Onouha`s choosing. If he has lied to his boss, he has to go, and City will be poorer for that.

If he hasnt done it ...then what possible reason would some "hacker" send an email to Mrs Onouha... whilst addressing it to Brian Marwood.

mate...he is guilty...open your eyes.Im a city fan dor 42 years... lets not kid ourselves and act like Scum fans by just defending him because he is part of the club...blindy.

If somebopdy hacked his account they would address the email to Mrs O and sign it Mr C....its not rocket science.
He has made a tool of himself too many times..and this time to make light of Mrs O condition is really poor & unprofessional behaviour for somebody supposedly at the helm of the club.

Get somebody else in and get shut of this complete tool

Whats to say youre not another rag in disguise of an Anonymous?, who is defending Cook?

The author clearly states he is not a fan of Cook and you imply hes defending him?, If anything you need to read properly and clearly before commenting as he was not defending him one little bit.

I wasnt referring my comment to the author...but to the other poster who believes all that hacker nonsense. And for the record I am a blue... you dont have to be a red to think this idiot needs to walk.

Yes Mrs Onouha has gone to the press..but the fact is he has dropped many many clangers. Im pretty sure he will lose his job this time.

Get somebody in who will not court so much bad press... the media are queueing up to have a pop at us and this fool is the gift to them that keeps on giving.

And a final point..I agree with 17.54 post. If he'd just admitted it and done the decent thing rather than try and duck it with a load ob nonsense..all would have been ok by now.

the club statement says it is investigating allegations made by doctor onuaha and subsiquently reported in certain media outlets it does not say it is preparing the noose lenght to fit mr cooks neck gary cook is easy meat for the rag press as is mario carlos etc. these people will never stop until they have caused real damage and disruption at city maybe that is what the board are meeting about DONT presune this is cooks epitaph he might well be innocent and the board might be preparing to take on the press there certainly powerfull enough afterall this phone and email hacking is still rife and on the news every night. cook makes mistakes as do we all but dont presume guilt until proven. wish mrs o all the best

For some unknown reason I cannot post as CiTyBlUe, trying to sort that out but lets get to it.

The pint I was trying to make was that this should not have gone to press, if it turns out that Gary is not guilty then who do you think could take the rap for this Nedum?

If he is found guilty then our club take the rap for this whether Gary is sacked or not, it seems to me like the anti City section of the media have found a recipe from Nedum's mum and baked a huge one.

All on the same week that United fans tempt Napoli fans into attacking City fans?, like someone said it stinks for this email lark has been going on for months.

Dr onuoha kia joorabigin ian wright THE SUN remember the names. firstly the FACTS ned wants to go out on loan to everton city will not subsidise his wages loan falls through.secondly joorabigin instigates a move away from city for carlos tevez move falls through due to citys valuation kia and ned not happy follow me so far.thirdly swp not offered new contract at city swp moves to QPR on less money ian wright not happy kia then advises ned whos mum is in contact with city representing ned.and finally DR onuoha who feels the need to send the first email to mr marwood wilst negociateing neds contract and makes her medical condition known to all but elaberates on the fact that she is and i quote ravaged.then transfere window closes then email released to press following day we have a foul mouth non constructive rant about city in a newspaper by guess who IAN WRIGHT what newspaper is he wrighting in THE SUN.11 months after a email was sent.the word BLACKMAIL comes to mind because if cook was guilty of sending email he could for arguement sake agreed to neds wages swp new contract carlos move away then no scandel something really smells here if cook is guilty we should still look into ian wright ned and the sun and that rat joorabgin we cannot allow this rag loving media to print anything they want about our great club
