Outsiders tend to believe they know everything and usually run their Mouthe's off without doing their homework having a lack of knowledge.
We all know the media prints a story, then by the time its done its rounds the story gets twisted. Well Cantona has two issues with City and this story gave no room for twisting, Tevez, Balotelli and City's apparent lack of youth?
Lets tackle lack of youth? well, if he means a youth academy like United's that has an immense ability to pump out championship and second division level players then that's hardly something to compare us too.
Over at City we develop our own players like Shaun Wright Phillips, Joe Hart and Micah Richards, Dedryk Boyata who all spent years in our academy.
OK recently we have bought a few young players in but to say we lack an academy like United's, has to be the second biggest joke in world football (the first being that Manchester has never been united).
Clearly Cantona Van Dumb has not done any homework, before running his mouth off like every other United fan. Since Manchester have produced Nedum Onuoha, Micah Richards, Joe Hart, Stephen Ireland, Michael Johnson, Manchester's academy have continued to produce good youth like Boyata, Nimely and Weiss all of whom are some of Manchester's first team players.
United have produced hardly any great academy players to break into their first team, Pogba, Obertan, Smalling, Fabio and Rafael, Nani, Anderson, King, Macheda, Diouf, are all from other clubs academies, the only youth United have recently produced in their first team are Fletcher, Gibson, Morrison, Norwood, Amos and Evans which is hardly something to shout about.
Fletcher and Evans being the only two that stand out a little but again, nothing to shout about.
Compare those average players to Manchester's youth and Cantona looks a complete idiot. Our youth academy is way ahead of United's in terms of productivity and the reason for that is based on the fact that after David Beckham, United neglected youth for big money signings.
United are guilty of poaching youth in recent years from other European clubs like Cristiano Ronaldo, Raf and fab, Hernandez, Vidic and Rooney from Everton, and it does not even stop there.
Just like their name, United are a complete and utter sham, claiming their young players came through their academy when the truth is out there for all to see.
With that covered all I can say is watch out for Harry Bunn out on loan at Dutch side N.E.C. a prolific young City striker.
Now after Tevez and Balotelli stating they do not like Manchester as a City, Cantona has had his say which he is entitled too but. Clearly this attention to Manchester City is flattering, the past it Advert man has finally realised that City are a bigger threat than he thought. Prompting him to create a weakness in City to satisfy his nerves, a little naive if you ask me considering Sheikh Mansour and our club have publicly stated that huge investment at youth academy level is in progress.
Hearing United fans deny our threat is the norm, hearing Alex Ferguson accept our threat is refreshing but hearing Cantona a United legend deny our threat is definitely an acknowledgement of progression.
Sergio Aguero is for now, Harry Bunn is our future, as for Tevez and Balotelli well, who cares what they say or get up to. As long as they don't negatively affect Manchester, I don't see what the problem is and like a bit of drama.
there's really no point getting wound up by the fat frog. we all know he talks complete ordures (sh1te if you prefer a calfism). He loved manchester so much he moved to collyhurst we he retired, oh hang on, apparently he didn't.
ReplyDeleteWhen players such as Beckham and Cantona feel the need to chime in on City, it only shows how much of a threat we have become. I love it.
ReplyDeleteFunny..we don't hear City greats the like of Bell, Tuert or Kinkladze chiming about United, do we?
ReplyDeleteFREEDOM OF SPEECH
ReplyDeleteIf you read the article carefully you will see Cityblue states its Cantona's right like any other but, if youre going to do so then do your homework and do it right.
ReplyDeletehaha, this was so funny, how clueless he is, made my day!
