Where do they get these so called experts to spout rubbish, after one game they were writing us off claiming Spurs will beat us to forth again and that United will walk all over us in the FA Cup. They wanted to have you believe Mario Balotelli was in complete shutdown mode and struggling only, despite all the stuttering, underneath all that rubbish was world class potential just waiting to explode.
They would also have you believe Edin Dzeko will continue to struggle and not make any kind of impact what so ever if he were to play. They continue to make out we are a one man team and struggle without Tevez, while that maybe true at times we are not short of replacements in the form of David Silva or young Abdul Razak.
Finally United's luck ran out and despite their dominance in the first half, City controlled the game with resilience and organisation. Ferguson and Rooney finally got what they deserved after Rooney's antic's against Tevez in the last Derby and after Ferguson's lack of respect for the true club of Manchester.
I just wish Fergy was on the touchline so we could have seen part two of the Bird dance.
It was fantastic seeing Mike Dean send off Scholes for drawing blood on Pablo Zabaleta, Zab's played out of his skin as bit most of our players and it made my day just seeing Scholes earn a three match ban which puts a severe dent in United's last games of the season.
To top all this off I have recorded a few before, during and after comments by United fans to make the win all the more special, not that it was not special enough knocking United out of the FA Cup already.

April 16, 2011 at 16:16 Colbert says: Mancini is such a negative coward. Three holding midfielders in a FA-cup semi final? Please. Plus, Balotelli was pathetic against Liverpool. Strolling about and feeling sorry for himself because he hurt his back a little. I expect him to do sweet f*** all against Rio & Vida.

April 16, 2011 at 19:28 RedFilip says: Gutted as fuck, will very likely drown myself in cheap whiskey tonight, while listening to Crowbar and Down, southern sludge metal that is. But, I dare to say: F*** the FA Cup, mostly because of my opinion: F*** THE FA.
I’m not being disgraceful or over-ambitious, but with the EPL and CL becoming more and more difficult with every year passing by, let the small clubs kill each other while battering for the FA and Carling Cups. Shitty are the smallest club ever, so if the cups are for small clubs, let them have it.
Only disappointed to see the bitters in the final, granting them a big chance to win it, and therefore ruining the record and running away with a trophy this season totally undeserved, but a minor trophy that is. Hope and Prey that either Bolton or Stoke, who ever wins, beat shitty in the final and still keep the banner ticking and the record standing tall & still. Actually, I’d prefer if Stoke beat Bolton in the semi and then defeat shitty in the Final, as I love rugby.
April 16, 2011 at 19:55 Samuel - united WE stand says: funny thing was i was holding out for a balotelli sending off, there were moments in that game after his yellow card that he could have lost his head but the prick has clearly being threatened to start behaving or his contract will be ripped. I won’t be shocked if city lost the final, they put in this kind of performance because its united, a stoke could win this or Bolton.
So there you have the thought of United fans.
Edwin Van der sar admits Manchester United's FA Cup semi-final exit was harder to take given it was at the hands of local rivals Manchester City.
United were ejected from the tournament at Wembley on Saturday afternoon thanks to a second-half winner from City man Yaya Toure, while Paul Scholes was dismissed for an ugly tackle on Pablo Zabaleta. And Red Devils goalkeeper Van der sar says the defeat struck more of a blow due to the identity of their opponents.
"It is never nice to lose the game but a semi-final against City is even worse of course," he said.
"We had our chances in the first half and the tempo of the game was too slow for us. We should have sped up more.
"They scored in the second half because of a couple of mistakes from us and then it was difficult 10 versus 11.
"You don't like to concede but if it's a 25-yard screamer you can sometimes live with it but it was a scrappy goal and we didn't really clear the ball out of defence".
Rio Ferdinand has come out and apologised for his spat with Balotelli while stating that a player should celebrate in front of their own supporters and not do what Balotelli did and brandish the City badge on his shirt towards the ever silent United fans.
Someone should remind him about Gary Neville running half a football field just to wind up City supporters, what a bitter bunch of losers United really are.
Whats it like to be United, whats it like to lose.
Just a pity Boot licker Rat face Gary Neville was not playing, that would have made it all the more sweeter.
