City Transfer Rumours, Prediction And Thought, TIOC Thinks More Out Than In!

January Transfer windows as we know tend to be very quiet with clubs reluctant to let players leave halfway through the season but at the right price anything can happen.

With City now really starting to gel it is harder to see where to improve the squad we have without thinking of departures first. We know Adebayor has to leave along with Roque Santa Cruz and with Balotelli, Nimely and Guidetti in mind I can only see one new arrival in the forward department.

Long rumoured Wolfsburg Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko fits the bill but as of yet there has been no solid evidence to prove our interest in Dzeko is active. The only other striker we have been realistically linked with recently is Germany's Thomas Muller but his work rate does not match that of the English Premier League requirement unlike Dzeko.

Probability: 7 out of 10

The latest rumour is Marc Van Bommel out of contract in the summer so City are hardly going to waste money drafting a 33 year old in, especially when we have the likes of Yaya, Dejong, Vieira and Barry with Vieira being the age exception.

Probability: 0 out of 10

One place I do think we could improve is in defense, While I believe in Zabaleta, Kolarov, Boateng, Richards, Kolo and Kompany. I still think we can improve on Bridge and Lescott, We do have promising Boyata and Cunningham on our books so with that in mind I think another defender will be a strong possibility in January if we manage to offload Bridge and Lescott.

Probable defenders to join City are David Luiz and/or Victor Ruiz, Luiz a left footed center back and Ruiz a right footed center back.

Probability: 9 out of 10

It is well documented that our goalkeeper Shay Given wants out of City and it is also well documented that City are following England under 21 goalkeeper Scott Loach. It would make huge sense to draft in an understudy for Joe Hart rather than a veteran goalkeeper.

Probability: 9 out of 10

This is our City's Players out Predictions:

Lescott, Bridge, Onouha, Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Etuhu, Jo, Caicedo, Bellamy, Given and Wright-Phillips.

This is our City's Players in Predictions:

Edin Dzeko, Victor Ruiz, David Luiz, Scott Loach

The plan for City is to lower our wage bill so in all probability we are likely to see at least double the amount of departures compared to new signings.

Would you be happy to see these players arrive and leave, do you know something I do not, let us know your views and opinions below.

I'd be happy to see Wright-Phillips stay but I also feel his dad is making it harder for him too after continuing to bad mouth City.

Between now and January anything could happen with quite possibly more players being linked to City but right now it is looking promising.

Dani Alves is without a doubt a very good right back but the two we are currently linked with above can play at center back and both are over 6ft.

Unless we lost Boateng or Richards I cannot see room for Alves.
