This is our City: Carlos Tevez And Co Should Go, What Do You Think, Is He A Mercenary?

Carlos Tevez And Co Should Go, What Do You Think, Is He A Mercenary?

Many fans of other clubs have quite a bit to say but they all amount to nothing when it comes to clubs fans like Man United, Spurs and Arsenal etc etc for all have had their fair share of mercenaries.

I personally think we have shown more than enough respect and welcome to Tevez and what have we got in exchange?, recently Tevez told us to pipe down when it came to us mocking United. Now he and his representatives are demanding more money despite the fact Carlos is the highest paid player at the club.

I read one comment from a City fan on another City blog stating how they hoped this was not another Gary Cooke job, well obviously that particular person has an unhealthy problem with Gary. Gary may have got a few things wrong in the past but no one is perfect, not me, not you or anyone and Gary has done far more for our club than Carlos Tevez has.

This however is all Carlos Tevez and his representatives and I will tell you why, if it is such a huge problem being away from your family and your a millionaire then why don't you use your fortune to bring them to England instead of leaving them in Argentina. If they choose not to then they clearly do not miss you enough and obviously they do not care as much as you do, life is sometimes about sacrifice and I think this rubbish with Carlos Tevez has nothing to do with feeling homesick or missing his family.

Unfortunately City have got themselves another mercenary and I think we should get rid before we start losing, we should sell him to Real Madrid or Barcelona for £70 million and find ourselves someone wanting to play for us without demanding more money.

Before United fans go shouting their Mouthe's off I would warn that they would do good to hold their tongues and not further prove that they are reigning champion hypocrites by remembering their club being recently fleeced by Rooney and a couple of Americans.

Football as a whole has a problem with mercenary players and you don't have to be rich to fall victim to it.

For the good of the club as a whole I think we should let Tevez move on but for no less than £70 million, either that or let him carry out his quit threat and sue him for losses.   I would be lying if I did not say I was disappointed but I believe he needs to be made an example of or it just leaves the door open for it to happen again in the future.

I genuinely think he's a bit nuts, all the fame and fortune appear to have unbalanced him, not to mention the isolation and feelings of guilt from his family leaving him, to his inability to learn English and make some friends.
I'm beginning to think he's really not doing this for the money, (although his agent obviously is), loneliness and depression can be a powerful force in motivating rash decisions.
If he's mentally not up to being at the biggest club in the World, just like Likkle Robbie, he needs to go somewhere more suited to his fragile mental state.

Definitely a double agenda going on with the strange apparent request of an extra year wanted along with an improved wage.

No one is getting the full story but one thing is clear, Tevez wants away from City.

Tevez's agent is the devil and he sold his soul to Joorabchian a long time ago. Joorabchian pulled him from Argentina and made him a millionaire. Tevez doesn't seem to understand that he is being used and his rep is making more money than he is from his footballing skills. I feel Tevez believes he owes Joorabchian his loyalty. This it totally misguided. It's scandalous, the amounts of money this agent has made from Tevez. It's obvious to me that this nonsense about a breakdown of relationships with Cooke and Marwood has nothing to do with Tevez. Joorabchian has been frozen out by Marwood and this is the real reason for the transfer request.

Ill back your opinion on agents using players but I refuse to believe Brian Marwood or any other City employee is to blame for this.

This is all Tevez and his agents doing and our club is doing everything by the book. Not allowing a player to fleece the club and not giving in to a players demands, this stinks of a Rooney and United situation.
