The Troubled Circus That Is Manchester United, Hypocrite Clowns Running Scared

I hear The Glazer family are trying to get the banks to turn Uniteds debt into bonds, in simple terms that is basically taking out another loan with fresh promises just to pay off the previous loan.

Guess what?, United fans are actually happy about it, if that was not enough The Glazer family are even considering selling the naming rights to their dated stadium. If we're lucky the Glazers may even change the club name as well and I would suggest McDonalds United as a perfect replacement.

What made me giggle this month was seeing our Carlitos Tevez pick up not just club player of the month but also the Barclays Premier League player of the month award after eight goals in seven games, at this rate Tevez will end up winning the Barclays Player of the year.

And United fans branded Carlitos Tevez a headless chicken stating the flop Berbatov was a better player, what makes me laugh even more is, they continue to pay to watch a diminishing squad slowly flatline after selling one of their best and loosing one of their best players.

The only player that really has any worth in their squad is Vidic but they seem to think Rooney is some kind of superstar instead, If Rooney is some kind of superstar player then why has England not won the World Cup with him?

The next thing they will say is, the rest of the English national side are flops, aside their own players for sure, how long before Vidic ends up at Real Madrid?

Alex Ferguson has just come out fighting in support of the Glazer family while stating his failure to enter the January transfer window has nothing to do with the fact United have extreme amounts of debt or due to the fact the Glazers will not give him any cash to spend as there is no cash to spend.

Most United fans on the world wide web are pretty much saying the same thing, but I cannot use them all as examples as it would take to long a time.

Heres what one had to say after Manchester City FC became debt free, hope you have as much enjoyment reading it as I did.

"I'm fond of City as a club. I went to Maine Road more than Old Trafford as a kid because I lived nearby and my best mate was a blue who wouldn't be seen dead at Old Trafford. I'm just sick of City fans talking up the money and disparaging the name of Man United, who have achieved fantastic things, only to be subject to ridicule from fans of a club that has achieved zero for over 35 years, and little before then. It's as if tradition and achievement means nothing compared to being owned by a billionnaire. And think on City fans...the Sheik could just as easily have bought Hull, or Wigan. That's the sum total of your achievment...a rich man's whim."

So you admit to being a glory hunting kid in your youth then rather than join your friends in supporting the real club of Manchester. As far as im aware United were also owned by a rich man before being riddled with debt, technicalities and its 34 years you numpty.

"Money like this is making a mockery of football. No achievement, tradition, hard work or ability is necessary now. Just pump in mega millions and you can skim off all the talent from other teams, pay them ridiculous amounts of money, and wait for the results. Once other fans realise that there is no point in thier team trying, they will give up and the game will die. You must be so proud that the only difference between yourselves and teams like Burnley, Birmingham, Stoke and Wigan is the shed load of money shoveled into your club from outside football. If City win every title and cup for the next 10 years, it will mean nothing. City have earned nothing, but been presented it all on a plate. Well done."

Well you pretty much described United while showing how much of a hypocrite you and your fellow United fans are, the only diference is that Manchester City are not in debt and are not fleecing us City fans.

Did I forget to mention the fact Manchester City FC have one of the top three best youth academies in Great Britain, we may snap up the odd one or two young prospects from other clubs here and there but United is the club that has abused their rights and status.

"I do not fear, just disdain. Yes you've got money, but you have no credibility. Any success you have will now be tainted by the phrase ' they did nothing before they got all that money'. United, Liverpool, Arsenal, have earned thier place in history through footballing achievement. As have Nottingham Forest, Spurs, Villa etc.... City now have money, period!

I do wish City well, but I don't see why thier good fortune should result in some City fans attempting to belittle the fantastic achievements of thier former tenants. As City are now tenants of the local council, perhaps a little humility is in order."

The chap seems to think we just appeared out of nowhere in the last few years, apparently we did nothing not even before 1976. Oh the old council jibe, how crippling we feel at the hands of such a devastating story about how our stadium is owned by Manchester City council.

Well they could not have rented it out to your fake club now could they, for starters your club is outside Manchester. Then there would be the issue of your club being misleadingly named Manchester United, would not seem right your club being based in a stadium named The CITY of Manchester stadium now would it.

Wishing us well is so "aww bless his little cotton socks", I bet he was uttering a little something more when he typed that out.

Mr Patrick Vieira, the stage is yours, do your best.

Thats all City fans ever talk about, isnt it. Our debt. Because you know when it comes to trophies or popularity and support you are no where near us.

Man City have the best youth academy? thats why overpriced fools like toure, adebayor and robinho are bought. I feel Ireland and Michael johnson are both better than Robinho who clearly dosent want to play for City any more.

Be realistic my friend,it takes time to build a sucessful football club. does not happen in a year or two and by sacking the manager when a few results dont go your way

Would like to end with the best quote of 2009, that came from Dougalas Maicon's agent

“If the likes of Real or United knock on the door then you consider the eventual offers. But we are talking about a top player who is fighting for the league title, the Champions League, the best player in his role, what would he be doing at City?.“I think it would be unthinkable, let’s not joke about it.”-Antonio Caliendo agent of Douglas Maicon

Im sure I spoke about more than United's debt?

    Debt
    Glazers
    Hypocrite United fans
    Name change
    The mighty Carlitos Tevez
    Misleading club name
    Feeder club for Real Madrid
    Overhyped Rooney

In the words of the king and I, etc etc etc.

I must of touched a nerve.

Its a shame that City and United fans have this debate about who is from Manchester and who is not and city fans accusing United of being Glory Hunters and frequently talking about the debt now because they have become the richest club in the world

While City will gradually become a force to reckon with City fans must respect United for all that they have achieved.

Its an idiotic belief that money can buy everything when it cannot. It takes time, patience and players who want to play for the club to achieve success rather than spending obnoxious amounts of money adn paying players wages they are not worthy of. Thats exactly how United developed under SAF. It took time, but it happened in the end.

Mancini himself said manchester is like Milan, two great footballing teams. passion, committment.

Good post CiTy BlUe. It's going to be hilarious watching United crumble over the next few seasons. Yes their achievements under Ferguson have been unbelievable but nothing lasts forever. I don't recall City supporters forming FC City in protest at being bought by our new owners. World dominination for City in the future, a downward spiral for the Trafford Globetrotters.

I dont see it as a shame, I was born from a family split down the middle, one side blue and the other side red.

I could delve further back to a time of Ardwick AFC and Newton Heath but this will do.

A time when the Manchester people supported both clubs, a day when City allowed United to ground share after the Germans bombed old Trafford though United fans seem to forget City were once a bigger club then United.

So we are ment to just sit back and take the abuse and idiocy from United fans?, I think not.

United fans deserve everything they get from this point on as they earned it.

City fans know money can not buy you everything and have always known it but whats wrong with having a bit of banter at the expense of United, they have been doing just that to us only taken to a whole other personal level in my opinion.

Lets see how they react when their club hit the frying pan, City are not the only victim of the United fans arrogant attacks, Leeds United fans have also been subjected to the same.

What goes around, comes around and its coming.

All this City should give respect to utd's achievements, why should we, these achievements have fuelled utd's venom and ridicule towards city fans for years, lets hope the bully can take it like we have had to do for years, so load up your catapults city fans Goliath has had its day.

Some are just fringeing on what the real problem is here. United don't like the stick they are getting lately because they are like bullies. When I went to school, all the bullies were United fans and when City were beating them in every competition, home and away, and winning the Championship, FA Cup, League Cup, Charity Shield, European Cup WInners Cup all in the psace of 3 years, the bullies went quiet.

20 odd years of snide comments, mocking, belittleing slagging off. ie, Liverpool are our real Derby match, worldwide appeal, you name it

    Well now it's payback time.

You the bullies (All reds) will have to take or lump it. Cos it's coming back to you with interest (You'll know all about interest won't you, £ 438 per second) Your club in intensive care and on life support. I hope that City are the team that eventually switches the machine off

All those United achievements were ultimately fueled by cash, their glory came with a price and now that they have lived it, its running out and they are about to pay for it and all the rubbish they through at other clubs will come rushing back to bite them right where it hurts the most.

What kick started the evil empires run through the last 19 years was thier formation as a PLC.The injection of funds enabled them to outspend everyone else on players securing domination.
    Sounds Familiar ?
Every empire will fall and thiers is in a rapid financial decline, as a blue for 42 years I will delight in thier misery.

I am sure most if not all of us City fans will enjoy their misery but one thing will differ us from them.

We will always remember where we started and what we went through to achieve glory and show respect to other clubs, that they have shown contempt too over the last 34 years or so.

Utd's recent (ie PL) success is purely based on being what they used to calim as "the richest clubin the world". well they aren't any more and we will see what that does to their "success". As they say, money may buy success and conversely not having money prevents success. get used to it like the rest of the normal teams in the rigged PL have had to. Money talks and if you don't have it you won't be at the top table.

I happen to think that eventually someone will come in and rescue them but, for now, its nice to see squirm and contemplate just a tiny bit of the realitity faced by all those clubs they claim to be beating by "building a team". You have to laugh at their bare faced cheek don't you. We will certainly all laugh at them getting a bloody nose.

Er, I think quite a few clubs became PLC's, so where are their championships, European Cups, FA Cups and League Cups? I have not seen Spurs win much. It took a great Manager and a winning mentality to do this, not the small mindedness that City seem to thrive on. Liverpool fans as an example, will not stoop to this because they have pedigree and a winning tradition behind them, they see it as beneath them.
Yes City have money, but they need the organisation and talent to win trophies, and that thakes time and a lot of consistnency. In the mean time Oil is running out and when he needs to the Sheik will dump city quicker than one of his Private Jets. When it happens City fans can revert to their default'revelling in loss' mode- Will think of you all when we pick up our fourth consecutive Championship this May.

Er, obviously your one of a long line of deluded United fans if you think United are going to win the EPL this season, what part of not strong enough do you not understand?

Chelsea are the strongest club currently above you, your club are loosing points firstly against Birmingham recently not to mention the huge loss against Leeds. Oh I forgot you United fans ignore the facts that go against you in favour of the facts that cater to your liking.

You will not win the EPL this season, nor will you win the coming Champions League as there are far better clubs far stronger FACT.

Manchester City FC will do our best to knock you out of the Carling Cup and United have been knocked out of the FA CUp by Leeds United so there is a strong chance United will win absolutely nothing this season lad putting a big fat nail in that big fat ego you United fans have.
