Roundup: Manchester City Time Machine Moves Forward As United's Machine Stutters Back To The Dark Age

Yes Manchester City FC are moving forward making good progress, our owner has freed us from debt and the club has finally captured a natural born leader in the form of Patrick Vieira.

With the January transfer window being a tough window to deal in due to inflated prices and clubs refusing to do business, we should all be glad Roberto Mancini is not the type of man to panic considering we have such current defensive injuries. Although Joleon Lescott is a top defender, I still believe we paid too much and he became a panic buy.

We can now safely live with the knowledge that our club will not be held to ransom again. Expect one or two more players to arrive most likely in the defensive department, I am sure thats as far as Mancini will go this month.

Martin Petrov has stated he wishes to stay with Manchester City only having 5 months left on his current contract, his agent is working on a renewed contract with Manchester City which is bad news for Tottenham Hotspur and good news for City fans.

City fans may just be surprised to see one or two new faces on the bench in the near future as reserve team younsters start to make their mark on Roberto Mancini and his coaches.

Felipe Caicedo has seen his loan deal end at Sporting Lisbon and gone out on loan to Malaga, best of luck to you Felipe. Emmanuel Adebayor thankfully survived the machine gun attack on the Togo team bus and is safe and well, heres to hoping all have a speedy recovery and we send our condolences to the drivers family.

And finally Calitos Tevez just won the Clubs Etihad Player award for December along with the Barclay's Premier League December player award, that is surely a two finger salute in the direction of Madam Alex Ferguson.

On that note Man United drew 1 - 1 against Birmingham but the game was shrouded by widespread trouble at St Andrews as seven fans were arrested.

West Midlands Police said there were two incidents of disorder during the Premier League clash at St Andrew's.

A spokeswoman said: "There were two separate incidents - one just before the game and one during half time and a number of officers have been deployed."

She said: "police had made seven arrests so far."

Obviously United fans are taking their fall from their throne heavily, refusing to take the light-hearted banter from the Birmingham fans on the chin.

One United fan said "It was kicking off everywhere in the ground and outside, even in the town it was like back to 80's all over again. Still more fun to watch than the rubbish fergie's team are showing."

How times change.

It shows that Man Utd only win with luck look at that lucky and pathetic win against the mighty city 4-3, Man Utd's wheel's are coming off and its only a matter of time before the Citezens cruise ahead of Man Utd. Man Utd are 11 cheats who are past it, I mean Scholes,Giggs,Neville,Valencia,De Sar etc.. Are all past it and rubbish, this year Man Utd will not win a thing, and we will hammer them at Eastlends, Man city are emerging and Man Utd are going down. Man City for title.
