Denayer, Lopes, Barker And Iheanacho Deserve Call Up, The Neville Brothers Not So Hidden Agenda

Left Winger Brandon Barker

I won't deny it that I fear Manuel Pellegrini will fail to put faith in our youth and opt against promoting Jason Denayer, Marcos Lopes, Brandon Barker and Kelechi Iheanacho to our first team squad. I fear they will be loaned out, just look at how John Guidetti has turned out who I must add is out of contract so we've lost a few £million there. The same happened with Daniel Sturridge, as much as I detest the money motivated little mercenary scumbag, it was City's fault we lost him on a free to Chelski. I must say I did take much enjoyment out of watching him rot on their bench, it's clear our club still has one or two creases that need ironing out. If Pellegrini survives the Axe then I pray he gives these 4 lads a chance, if he fails too then I'll continue to call for his sacking. I'm not happy about his latest comment that he still believes our squad as they are, are still up to the task but there you go.

On too rat face Gary Neville and his slightly better looking brother Phil, we all know exactly who got hit by the ugly stick in that story aye. Well well well Gary Neville the Sky Sports presenter slams City, Arsenal, Liverpool and United?, stating Chelsea deserve more respect? Even Phil Neville's at it himself, praising Arsenal?

What I find blatantly obvious is they have a not so hidden agenda, rat face is clearly butt hurt over Uniteds lack of success. I mean both he and his sister, I mean brother are rags so that's to be expected, but what wasn't expected was their new found affection for those rival clubs they loved to gloat over. So why have they become fans of Chelsea and Arsenal all of a sudden?

I put it down to the fact they hate Manchester City more than anything or anyone, it's a fact they hate City more than they do Liverpool. For 2 decades the Neville brothers, United and their fans have hidden behind the rivalry with Liverpool as well as our unfortunate lack of success and used it as a smoke screen to disguise their hatred towards Manchester City, the one and only true club of Manchester 1894, after all our very existence goes against everything that is United. Just Manchester City being in the European spotlight scalds everyone connected with United, our club is a huge billboard proving Manchester never were United.

Gone a little off track here but never mind, bottom line is the rags have become so bitter and hurt that they are now showing other clubs around Manchester City support. Only yesterday I witnessed a United fan goading City fans and revelling in Chelsea's title success, the same United fan has been on the Daily Mail website for the last 11 months trying to wind Manchester City fans up, he clearly has some bitter and envious mental health issues not to mention a sad life spending the time he does mouthing off. Oh he's not the only one either as a large number exist web wide, well now it seems the Nevilles are getting in on the act, supporting other clubs even if it does mean they have to include United in their rants to save face. It's blatantly obvious that anyone who stops Manchester City has their vote and support.

It's also pretty clear fellow players of other Premier League clubs have hidden agenda's against Manchester City, how on earth can David De Gea be chosen ahead of Joe Hart or Thibaut Courtois the undoubted best goalkeepers in the league? Or choose Harry Kane and Diego Costa over the undoubted best forward in the Premier League, who may I add is currently top goalscorer and heir to the Golden Boot award if he has his way. Currently standing (22) 2 goals more than Kane and 3 goals more than Costa, 1 goal short of his 23 goals in 2012, add to that 6 assists, 3 more than Costa and 2 more than Kane.

Evidence of an agenda is laid bare for all to witness, I forgot to mention match officials reluctance to red card players like Diego Costa for stamping but lets leave that for now. Despite no one really putting up a fight for the title this season, I must congratulate Chelsea on their title success if only for sustained consistency. On the other hand I'm in support of Manuel Pellegrini's honest opinion that they were, are boring, play boring football and that we are more entertaining. But with that said I'd like to see us defend and counter attack more, as opposed to always playing in our opponents half all the time, not as boring as Chelsea but more adaptable to our surroundings.

There's nothing wrong with being honest, now that Chelsea are English Champions lets see the rest of the league up their game against them for a scalp, this is why it's never easy to win back to back titles. To be honest I think this will be a blessing in disguise for Manchester City, a chance to regroup, freshen up, give our youth a chance and bring in a few fresh legs.

    Calm down fella!

I agree the club have monumentally messed up so far with the kids. Look at us watching Albert Rusnak after letting him go on loan and then selling him. Our kids deserve a chance and there must be a game at the end of the season where they can be thrown into the cauldron. Maybe if we've got automatic CL qualification sewn up, some kids can get their chance.

    1. I'm not sure what to make of your 'Calm down fella' comment, what exactly should I calm down over?

Over the Pellegrini situation? our clubs inability to stop our youth leaving on a free? The problem we have is Pellegrini had nothing to lose promoting youth at Malaga because Malaga weren't or aren't fighting for titles and trophies, at best they fight relegation all the time so the gamble on giving youth a chance is much less stressful and of a gamble. It's clear Pellegrini does not believe our youth are ready but I watch them regular and believe some are, being the players I've mentioned. I'm calm, I just don't have much confidence in Manuel.

I agree with much of what you say, but personally don't feel Barker is quite ready. I think a loan move would be more beneficial for him. I would promote the 3 you have mentioned and Angelino if Kolorov leaves. I would much rather give our youth a chance than try and buy our way out of the homegrown problem.

    1. I believe Barker is ready and the fact he's an attacking player, there's much less of a gamble. As opposed to Angelino, undoubtedly one for the future but hardly ready especially after he was ran rings around against Chelsea. Angelino has more to learn and needs to build up in size. He can get knocked off the ball very easily by larger opponents. Barker on the other hand has everything needed to succeed.

  3. We got £6.5million for Sturridge

    1. We actually lost Sturridge on a free, Tribunal awarded City £3.5 million with another £3 million dependant on appearences. He very rarely started for Chelsea so the truth is City only got about £4 million, if we didn't let his contract run down then we could have sold him for £8 to £12 million easy.

    2. We got £3.5million up front with 500k for every 10 appearances thereafter up to £2million, we received the full £2million. We also received the other £1million for Sturridge making his international debut whilst he was a Chelsea player.

    3. Sturridge transfered from Chelsea to Liverpool for £13.2 million and he's now valued at £22 million. Manchester City valued Sturridge at £10 million, we demanded £7 million at the tribunal. So we only received just over £6.5 million, taking into account the losses City made in development fees etc, we only actually made around £4 million.

I agree with u completely. We need to give our youth a chance. Pellegrini definitely need to trust our youth players just as he did in Malaga.

Agent Hughes had a hand in forcing sturridge out of our club also, not giving him game time and bringing him on for the last 5 or 10 mins when we were chasing the game. His body language said it all in the last game he played for us when ireland passed to him for a tap in he needed to leave with that twunt in charge and it was probably agent Hughes who tipped Chelsea off about his contract.
Who sanctioned the loan of Guidetti to Stoke seeing how he treated Sturridge tells you all you need to know how the people in the background are trying to F##k the club up and if our owner carn't see it or his so called friend the Gooner fan Khaldoon what's the point.

    1. I was never a fan of Hughes either but to suggest our current board are trying to f##k our club up is ridiculous. What about Patrick Vieira?, he's a Gooner through and through, I don't see what the problem is even if Khaldoon was an Arsenal fan as you proclaim. there's a difference between Sturridge and Guidetti. Sturridge was homegrown, he was our youth, where as Guidetti wasn't. Sturridge was and is Premier League quality, where as Guidetti isn't, Guidetti failed to improve enough to be worthy of a place in City's squad. Guidetti allowed his ego to dictate his future, where as Sturridge allowed money and his career to dictate. Now Guidetti is doing the same right now demanding a higher wage, my point was about the money we've lost from letting our youth run down their contracts, I couldn't care less that they left City. Even today I'm glad Sturridge left because he was nothing but an egotistical money grabbing mercenary making demands. Our board are not trying to f##k City up, that's just paranoid doomongery, all I was suggesting was that City need to stop making financial losses in this way.

    2. Just to clarify something, I don't care what the rules and guidelines for youth say, as far as I'm concerned any youth player that joins our club from the age of 16. Is not home grown youth in my opinion, Joe Hart for instance wasn't our youth, he's our player and we can take part of the credit for the player he has become since joining us, but we can't take credit for before he joined us. Guidetti joined us at age 16.

as far as I'm concerned any youth player that joins our club from the age of 16. Is not home grown youth in your opinion you say, so that rules out players like Marcos Lopes, Thierry Ambrose, Seko Fofana, Kelechi Iheanacho being classed as homegrown then doesn't matter what you type John Guidetti was homegrown..Albert Rusnák was also 16 when he joined our club so are you saying he was not home grown..

    4. When did you happen to hear me claim those players you mention ever were home grown in my opinion aye? You didn't because I never did, City do not deserve to be accredited for Lopes, Ambrose, Fofana or Iheanacho. Why should we take credit for what another club achieved aye, sounds to me like you just want to assert your opinion on others. That's my opinion so if you can't accept it tough, I'm not here to argue with you, nor am I an outlet for you to vent.

Title winning season strengthen the team was the call, we buy Rodwell Injured and Sinclair then sells De jong an international for 8 mil to AC Milan at a 10 mil loss even though he was worth or should I say valued at a lot more.
Player wanted but they say they couldn't get work permit for but it wasn't that difficult for Celtic to get him Biton.
Youth players and senior players contracts left to run down.
Youth players sold before they can show what they're worth Ben Mee, Kieran Trippier, Denis Suarez, Emyr Huws, Albert Rasnak.
Youth players loaned out to teams that don't give them game time or they try to put them in their reserves.
Bring in young talent who have a good pre season then loan them out straight away, first putting them in a car driving up the motorway to Sunderland only to be told it's against premier league policy to buy a player then loan them out to a premier league team under the new FFP rules. Then loan him to a team that gives him just 45 mins playing time and nothing is said Bruno Zuculini.
Players treated with contempt then left out of the team telling the whole world they are injured then sell them on.
Giving Mancini a new 5 year contract then sacking him after only a year in costing our owner 7 mil
Failing FFP even though the people Employed at the club are supposedly the best in the financial business.
Loan with a sell on clause a 23 goal Striker last day of transfer deadline with a Youth striker going out on loan the same day.
The Bringing in of that dodgy company Viagogo instead of keeping it in house.
What was it Soriano said when he first arrived at our club? I can not believe wheels are not in motion for plans to extend the ground.
So with all that that has happened, what am I supposed to think about the people that run our club.
