They're All At It Already Twisting Bobby Manc's Words, City Have Been Active

Active in the Transfer window with the trials of:

16 year old Portuguese/Brazilian Attacking Midfielder Marco Lopes from S.L. Benfica, a young David Silva with a sweet left foot, you would be fooled by his stature when realising how young he actually is. Pre season has shown Marco to be a very promising young player, definitely worth a contract at the tender age he be.

18 year old Croatian Striker Mario Jelovic from Hajduk Split, joined them in 08 and made his first and only appearance for them last season, has made several appearances for the Croatian U19's. Not seen much of him but from what I've heard hes definitely Elite Development, one possible for the future.

20 year old Isreali youngster Nir Biton, another U19 International but not as young from F.C. Ashdod, a 6ft5 Defencive Midfielder with the ability to attack, pick out a killer pass and score goals, has impressed in pre season and would be a massive shock if not given a contract by Manchester City.

20 year old United Arab Emirates Attacking Midfielder Omar Abdulrahman has joined Manchester on trial from UAE side Al Ain, another very promising young talent likened to our Titan Yaya Toure though not as tall standing at 5ft 8in.

City are also reported as chasing 22 year old South Korean left-back Yun Suk-Young who impressed at the Olympics, he managed to keep Craig Bellamy quiet against Great Britain.

Then there are the EDS promotions of Denis Suarez, Abdul Razak and the introduction of Luca Scapuzzi, all players with a bright future, if anything Manchester City have gained 4 or 5 young new first team players at the least.

The inbred media just want Manchester to draft in proven super stars and pay over the odds so they can see Manchester struggle, I'm certainly not as stupid as they think (I mean I don't go out buying newspapers to line their pockets while they bitch about us).

I am not naive enough to NOT admit we need a proven defender to partner Kompany but that and a winger  is all I believe we need, we have the best offensive force in the league minus a good winger so at best only need two proven players for now.

Our owner Sheikh Mansour has kept to his word and turned us into a force not just at senior level, but also at youth level by improving on our already successful award winning youth academy.

Typical ITV and Daily Mail at it as usual.

All this rubbish about Bobby Manc and Brian Marwood fighting in the back room is utter rubbish, if anything Marwood is doing a fantastic job behind the scene. Bobby said nothing of a feud with Marwood, he only pointed out that 'He was not happy with the lack of activity'. The last thing we need is a panic buying backroom staff and Uefa breathing down our neck.

So sell before we buy is the way forward, I'm certainly not in a panic anyway.

"he only pointed out that if The last thing we need is a panic buying backroom staff and Uefa breathing down our neck"
Not heard Mancini say that, you got any quotes of that?

Bobby ain't happy with Marwood, watch the press conf.

Jesus I'm no fan of the press and all the shite they write, but seriously, they could take lessons in drivel from you.

    1. Thanks for pointing that out for me, I'm sure if you read it again you will understand (it seems half the sentence was accidently removed while being written, I corrected the error.

I have watched the press conference and Bobby never said he was unhappy with Marwood, you just got suckered into thinking he was.

He just said he was not happy with the situation, maybe you need to listen to yourself before unleashing your mild rant.

If you don't like what you read then don't come back, I won't be missing you that's for sure.

I think you are going way over the top to try and demonstrate your devotion to City. The rift between Roberto and Mancini is all too apparent. No amount of spin by you will change that. Mancini states that nothing has happened in four months on players and says the man responsible is Marwood. Very clear exactly what he means. He is engaged in a battle for control and will win.

    3. Quote 'I think you are going way over the top to try and demonstrate your devotion to City'.

My answer to that would be "You have not got a clue what you're talking about, how does an article stating that the rift between Booby and Marwood is all blown way out of proportion give you that impression?".

Simple answe to that is it doesn't and you comment makes no sense what so ever.

Bobby Manc will never gain full control of Manchester City because the days of managers having full control are long gone and over, not even Fergy has full control at the swamp and he lost full control when the Glazer family took over.

As for proving my devotion well I don't need to do that, I've supported City for 36 years so there's devotion enough. I run this blog for City fans and because I love City, it's for nothing more than that.

Just a minor point. If you are looking forward to a profession as a journalist with say the Daily 'Voice of the People' Mail, then you need to tighten up your grammar. It is not "Their All At It Already" as you open your article with. It should be "They are" or "They're".

    1. I bet you enjoyed finding that aye, well done, I do love a good grammar checker every now and then. Oh and by the way Mr Spell Checker, I'm not trying to be a journalist, nor do I wish to be.

Voice of the people my arse, more like voice of Arsenal, United and Liverpool.

I can understand mancini's frustration but I can also understand the need for marwood to hold the line. Every time City are linked with a player the tossers in the players club start racheting up the price regardless of whether or not it's real interest or just paper talk. Look at the Agger situation. Look at the De Rossi situaltion. Look at the excretia that has poured from the potty mouth of the Napoli Chairturd?

It has to stop and that's Marwoods job.

In the meantime we have a side capable of retaining the PL title and going deep into the CL. But fear not, some decent mature sighings will come. They aren't essential now, they will be important later.

  5. yeah he's done a great job bringing in talented youngsters lately. Hope to see Suarez and Razak make the roster, they are already good enough to contribute.

Also, City need some pace in this side. Especially on that left wing. Our build up was way too slow at times last season. Hope the rumors of Scott Sinclair possibly coming are true..I think pace is even more important than a CB right now.

  6. Jack Rodwell signs, another young signing and again nothing to worry about. Mancini looked pretty happy to me in his interview after the Community Shield match, just goes to show the Bobby Marwood war is just a myth as all it is a diference of opinion between the two etc.

How many people actually have a friendship with all of their work colleagues?, every single one of them?
