Sergio Aquero A City Player, who'd a thought it, my oh my are we in for a right treat this coming season. Silva and Aguero will have Premier League defenses in a twist, if Tevez ends up staying then they are in for one hell of a headache.
Since knocking United out of the 10/11 FA Cup (the cup they brand the Mickey Mouse cup unless they win it), and going on to win the most prestigious domestic Cup in world football by beating Stoke, Tevez aside, the capture of Sergio Aguero is a completely new level in the City revolution.
It makes it all the more breathtaking hearing United fans lose themselves in disbelief that Manchester City have officially joined the ranks of Europe's elite super power club, able to attract the calibre of player like Aguero all in one season.
The opinions of the enemy answered:
"You maybe have a title winning forward lineup but your defense is rubbish and you need a great signing to partner Kompany"
Stefan Savic
"Dejong will get sent off and banned, Balotelli will create chaos and your players will get frustrated and City will fail"
Never going to happen
"You have spent £38 million on Aguero and spent over your income, Uefa are now going to ban your club from Europe and you're not going to win nothing"
Wishful thinking
"United have a far bigger and better team than City and Rooney is better than Aguero"
Delusional ignorance
"OK you've signed a good player but he is hardly world class now is he, not like Barcelona, United or Real Madrid were interested in him"
From world class to hardly world class in one day, now thats a classic
"I hope he will perform another Robinho and crash and burn"
Not much chance of that happening, Robinho was a lazy git
Is there any wonder people detest United fans, I think pity would be a better way forward?
I had to ask the question, 'so what is it like knowing your club will have to face Aguero, Tevez, Yaya and Silva in the Community Shield (Charity Shield) at Wembley on the 7th August?'
"Rooney will give them a master class on how to score a goal"
Is that the same over rated striker that goes missing so much and got humiliated by Tevez and a bench warming Berbatov?
I hope your sides are splitting right now because mine were.
Here's the laugh of all laughs.
"He should not have gone to shitty, now he will flop and waste his career, will only win the mickey mouse cup and will do the same as cry baby Tevez."
Jealousy
We have come a long way since beating United by 5-1 at Maine Road in 89 thanks to Lakey, and unbelievably defeating Gillingham thanks to Dickov. Despite all thats happening right now. I find myself watching reruns of beating Spurs 4-3 in the FA Cup when Barton was sent off for being an idiot and Shaun Goater terrorising United in the last derby at Maine Road, putting it all into perspective especially when I again get to see Marc Vivian Foe play once more.
As far as I am concerned we're still the 'same old City' accept we now win more than we lose.
