Guidetti Snub?, Six Players That Would Complete City, Who's On Their Way Out

According to Skysport's our young striker John Guidetti is seeking a life away from Manchester City when his current contract runs out, City have reportedly offered Guidetti an extension but apparently it was not good enough for the youngster.

I smell another stinking Daniel Sturridge here and although I highly rated Guidetti, he is not the only young striker with potential we have on our books.

We also have Alex Nimely, Gai Assulin and young Harry Bunn, so if it is to be believed then good luck Guidetti because you may need it and you only need look at Sturridge right now.

Lets be honest, if he does not have the patience to wait for his chance then he should go, and if he don't think he is good enough to break through then again he should go.

Six Players to Complete Manchester City

Alexi Sanchez would make a fantastic strike partner for Tevez, both love one touch link up play, both have a love for long shots out of nothing and both have bags of skill and speed.

Next up a midfielder to compliment those we have already, I'd love nothing more than to see Michael Johnson reclaim his tag as the new Colin Bell but I can not see it happening anytime soon.

Don't get me wrong because I would hate for City to let him go, especially after all the effort he and City have put in to getting him back fit from a devastating few seasons of injury.

Get him out on loan to another top team and let him prosper, then bring him back when hopefully back to his best.

With that said onto my pick of who city should draft in, one Spanish international Juan Mata able to play both in center mid or on the wing, fellow countryman to one David Silva.

Next up a central defender to compliment Vincent Kompany, my choice would be Bolton Wanderers 25 year old, 6"2 Gary Cahill. I think he would make a great partner for Kompany, giving 20 year old Dedryck Boyata a few more years to mature into the promising defender he will hopefully become.

Onto a wing back and my choice here would be 23 year old France International Aly Cissokho, a promising young left back with a lot of power, speed and Stamina.

And 23 year old Dutch International Gregory Van Der Wiel also a promising young right back, part of the Dutch team who got to the last World Cup final.

Finally 24 year old center back Cristian Zapata who can also operate on either side at wing back, A very good defensive utility player at 6ft2.

TIOC's Prediction On Who's On Their Way Out Of City

Shay Given (may stay if we achieve Champions League football, won't be leaving until a replacement is found but has confirmed he is happy to stay at City)

Emmanuel Adebayor (Mancini has said he is welcome to stay but I would rather he be sold on)

Craig Bellamy (Cannot see him back at City while Mancini is in charge, loaned out again or sold)

Micah Richards (Apparently engineering his own departure, this could go either way, Im out of the office on this one as he has disappointed me as much as he has impressed me)

Wayne Bridge (On His way out for sure)

Roque Santa Cruz (On his way out for sure)

Michael Johnson (Probably loaned out)

Felipe Caicedo (On his way for sure)

Jo Alves (On his way out for sure)

Patrick Vieira (Reportedly retiring or leaving to another club)

Carlos Tevez (Rumours rife on this one but definitely won't be leaving unless replacement is found before or as part of any deal, cannot see him leaving unless we failed to gain a Champions League place)

Not a chance in the world that Micah Richards leaves, he is city through and through and our first choice right back. We also have Boateng, who I ultimately think is Mancini's first choice center back with Kompany. Cissokho would be an excellent buy as he is a very talented young player. I think that left-back is our biggest issue, as I do not rate Kolarov or Zabs very highly. And I think the only alternative to buying a left-back is to buy a center back and move Boateng to the left. I do not think there are many players that we need to buy, and instead we will be much quieter this transfer window, unless Tevez leaves. If Tevez leaves we are fucked

Your correct and my bad Matt, I have corrected my mistake. I was thinking about another player while I was writing the article.

    Thanks for pointing it out.

Kaptain Kompany, I think we actually need 4 or 5 players to replace the 5+ that will leave for sure.

I don't think we will miss Tevez as long as he is replaced with another players as good as minimum.

@Kaptain Kompany - Zab is a fantastic right or left back and probably would be a lot of people first choices, Richards has had a very good year at city and has looked back at his best, Boateng has looked poor so far, especially at full back, Lescott is playing well and i dont think there is much need to change that, Boyata, Kompany, Zab, Richards, Lescott, all are very capable of playing against the best teams. all we need is a left back, i would still like to see Kolarov do well, (look at Evra at united, took him a season to get into it) but I personally would love to see Lahm or Cissokho in the mix, as well as Sanchez, and possibly Sniejder in a swap deal for Tevez if he must go.

dont expect too many comings, but a fair few goings, we want stability and consistency, bringing in half a team would upset this yet again.

i dont think alexis sanchez should be considered a partner or replacement for tevez. Hes been playin as a striker this season, but he's more of a winger, his pace and directness would be more effective on the wing in the pl. Why bring in Juan Mata when you already have silva? Not convinced by Cahill and im sure his value is 20+..

I'd have Caicedo back. He'sonly young, been getting better year after year, and he's had a fantastic season on loan.

I would certainly prefer big Phil Caicedo to be thrown on in those "Jo" moments.

I don't think Tevez is quick. If he goes then it may help the team as he at times keeps possession for too long. A great scorer for City but it looks like he (& his agent) want a move.

Excited by the thought of Sanchez signing. Look really quick and if he does not get many goals will win free kicks and penalties from the opposition. We now have a few players who can take advantage of these situations.
