No matter where we go we hear the same old crap, that we should not be proud of anything because we are buying the title etc etc etc.
Liverpool bought their trophy cabinet full with cash by buying players and running an academy which has all but become stale of late.
Man United in the borough of Trafford have been buying the league title since the day Harry Stafford bought the club, he was part of a four man team of scumbag businessmen that thought it would be funny to rename Newton Heath to Manchester United despite the fact Manchester already had a football club aka Manchester City FC.
Buying players then bettered their chances year in year out as well as tapping up young players from other European clubs. Arsenal are also another club as well as Blackburn, Spurs and everyone else, every club on this planet are spending money to better their position in world football so we are no different from any other.
I am very proud of my club now and I was still as proud of my club when we were back in the third division, at least we can say we are not being gifted a league title year in year out like United were, when the rest of the league were ten times weaker due to lack of funds, the same funds that were only available to a select few aka Liverpool and Man United.
At least when Manchester City do win a title, we will have done it with hard work unlike some. We have come a long way and endured more ups and downs than most clubs could imagine and we are still here to tell our story.
With Arsenal up next I thought I would cover relations between City, The Arse and The Hotspur, first things first The Arse seems to be gaining an affinity with The Hot spur.
on our last meeting with Tottenham, Arsenal fans were expressing how they wanted Tottenham to destroy us which ended nil nil. Only now Tottenham fans are expressing how they want Arsenal to destroy us too, one particular Tottenham fan had this to say, 'I hope Arsenal kick ur ass and I’m a Spurs fan.' really? I would never have guessed.
Maybe they could merge both clubs together and brand them Hot Arse FC, they are certainly blowing hot air this season and it stinks of jealousy and envy.
With that said it is about time we register a win at the high and mighty Emirates, especially after the last game where we were subject to a cheating Arsenal FC and referee.
I still believe to this very day that we are always on the receiving end of referee's, rarely do we ever gain any kind of favour but then that makes it all the more sweeter when we beat a twelve man team.
We will be without Mario Balotelli and David Silva through injury, but we have Nigel Dejong back and Yaya Toure to keep Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri quiet. I think we have a far stronger midfield with Milner and Johnson on the wings, it is a pity we cannot get Edin Dzeko signed up ready to play as it seems we may have to wait a little longer if the media are to be believed.
Here's one for you, Newcastle wanting to loan some of our players after the witch-hunt they caused against Nigel Dejong, the player in question is Wayne Bridge.
I mean what a cheek to even suggest such a move, if I had my way City would never ever do business from this point on with Newcastle United, Everton FC, Arsenal FC or Tottenham Hotspur FC and obviously Man United are top of my never do business with list.
Is this a serious blog? Nah, couldn't be.
ReplyDeleteJust shows how far wqe have come when even the mighty (once) Real Madrid want our cast offs. How times have changed!!
ReplyDeleteI concur with your feelings about the above clubs and am more than happy to keep getting our players from the continent. So much more class. And a better bargain.
its clearly satire.
ReplyDelete...it has to be.
Cheating Arsenal take off your blue tinted glasses your money has obviously affected your brain. We still haven't forget the disgraceful stamp on RvP head from Adecashhoare. Try filling your ground
ReplyDeleteNobody gives a shit about you when you are not a threat. For years I had a Liverpool friend of mine (yes I know, so don't say it) patronisingly express week in week out "I don't really mind Man City, yis are alright". Now he Fxxxing hates us. Ha Ha I love it. I keep telling him "I don't really mind Liverpool, yis are alright". He's not amused.
ReplyDeleteBriggsy it seems like your another one with no love of the truth when it works against you.
ReplyDeleteAdebayor stamping on RVP was all the doing of Arsenal FC, it just merely happened after Adebayor left Arsenal instead of the other way around and had nothing to do with our club as a whole.
Your clubs fans were also to blame for escalating the situation, simple case of 'if you play with matches you might just get burnt.'
I have nothing against ur club or how u much u spend on players. Your tone is kind of defensive somewhat, I wonder why?
ReplyDeleteIn any case I'd rather ur team win the league than the scum of old trafford.
And lastly, please accept my most sincere gratitude for taking adebayor off us.
May the best team wins.
Cheers.
Unfortuntely for you 16:24 one fan does not make a majority, I feel your playing the dumb card when wondering why I have what you say as a defensive tone.
ReplyDeleteAs for Adebayor and your thanks well, that means absolutely nothing beca We will just sell him on and move on and up without a moments more thought.
Do you have any emotion for any of your players other than Hart? You know they couldn't give a damn about the club and treat you as the man with the money? Is there any satisfaction?
ReplyDeleteCebrooker,
ReplyDeleteTheirs only one player who could not give a damn and ill be happy to see him leave, that is Emmanuel Adebayor. As for the rest of our squad well, they have shown enough on the playing field to express how they give a damn and the league table also states they care no matter what outsiders like you think.
With reference to the hot arse fc maybe we could combine yourself and Man utd and what shall we call you, I know Manchester United
ReplyDeleteI wonder what is going to happen at City once the financial fair play rules come in...

ReplyDeleteI wonder what is going to happen at City once the financial fair play rules come in...
Answer: Absolutely nothing.
So will they continue to make a huge loss and choose not to compete in European competition then?
ReplyDeleteHow will we make huge losses when we are clearly not buying anymore than one or two players with the intention of selling twice, maybe even three times that many players.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the fact we are starting to sell out on tickets at home games with a full stadium, I guess as your not a City fan you would not be realising such facts.
Merchendising is higher and will continue to rise and City are gaining more support as we speak so whats your point.
City made a £120m loss last season alone (http://annualreport.mcfc.co.uk/reports.htm#open)
ReplyDeleteThat's partly due to buying players, and partly due to the wage bill.
My point is that City won't be able to afford their squad once the ffp rules come in - i don't believe they can sell £120m of merchandising (bearing in in mind that they sold £7.9m last year, and made total revenues of £125m). Unless of course they sell all their expensive (highly paid) players, as you point out. In which case where does that leave them?
Nothing to do with being a fan of MCFC or not, just an observation, interested to hear what city fans think...
Surely the point is that the Unfair Play Rules don't come into operation for another year. Meanwhile we have naming rights on the ground to deal with plus other sponsorship deals.
ReplyDeleteThe point I am trying to make is that if Etihad want to make it the Etihad Stadium and pay £500M for the privilege within the next 18 months, they can do as we are not under the regime of the rules. Only when they are in force can UEFA bring in the market forces diktat. Simples!!
hi
ReplyDeletewhat a fantastic piece, well informed and passionate. sticking to the facts and also telling it like it is! i am an arsenal supporter and it is my first time here and i am impressed. keep it up, on our boring sites we never put up the oppositions club badge in such a prominent spot in the piece, we also dont let people come and take the piss out of our articles or even write articles which would invite piss takers but you guys obviously do things differently. i am still trying to understand why most people think buying a title is wrong esp. some of our fans who used to think it was right? and if, god forbid, the financial fair play rules kicked in the financials of a big club like yours might take a serious hit. i mean leeds, newcastle, and pompey are doing alright, arent they? another point you touch on is refs are biased against you, we feel the same way so maybe we should both play a clean game tomorrow and give the ref little to do?
I think Arsenal are the best run club in the league with regards to their foscal management. But beyond that they are an insecure team with no great spine. And yes i am tired of other clubs slagging off city. What we are doing is merely a logical extension of what was already happening in the league. It may not be pretty but we have to look after ourselves becuse no one else will. And we know that cause we hvent won a major trophy in thirty four years. So screw Spurs, Arsenal and United,
ReplyDeletewhen the rules come in our owners will have made sure that we are well within fair play rules.
ReplyDeleteThere are many factors to think about like future club sponsorship deals, merchandise, ticket revenue, stadium naming rights, the increase in capacity and the development surrounding the City of Manchester stadium.
This is not even half of it so I just don't think we will be that affected when the rules come into play.
I am also looking to a fair game on both sides but with it being us City, I expect something from the referee whoever he may be on the day.
In all honesty I know not all fans of all clubs are scum but I have to admit I love winding them up.
Shitty fc of Wastelands fans spend all their time talking about what
ReplyDeleteManchester United aren't going to do, then their own trophyless,
practically semi - pro, band of no-hopers
Title contenders....hahahahahahaha There's more chance of Liverfool winning the league
As it is practically EVERY YEAR(As he types he thinks of the INFAMOUS banner LOL)
we keep winning trophy's and the class hating, deluded, bitter shitty fans spend
their days dreaming of this elusive 'if it's not this year then next year you rags
definitely won't finish in the top 4'....didn't we hear this last year?
and the year before that etc????....pathetic, utter LOLS!
You lot are the embarrassment of the football world, we the PRIDE OF MANCHESTER
salute you!....The blue moons rising, THE BLUE MOONS RISING hahahahahahaha
If any of you 'TRUE BLUES' have kids I hope they get cot death or die of cancer,
cos they deserve to having TRUE RAGS for parents. Hope your families burn up in a fire!
United has brought through young players for YEARS BACK and mixed them
with Transfers and WIN (you bitters will NEVER understand that) games.
Then you WIN trophies and create bigger revenues so that you're a richer club which
can then JUSTIFY the big spending on players. The club has earned the right to because
they built the team the proper way and spend money from THEIR revenues.
Citeh have NO MONEY, your trophyless team can't afford to buy players or pay the wages,
you get billionaires to do it for you hahahahahah
Enjoy the big spending to NO effect while you can BOYS, because when those fair play
rules come in and the Qatari Royal Family(richer than your towel heads) has wiped
out our 500 mill debt, we'll have at least 200 mill of OUR REVENUES to spend on
players if THE CLUB wishes to(billions more than the wastelands hierarchy can afford!)
Your pathetic revenues can't even cover your
130 mill wage bill( only got 125 million.....hahahahahahah)
We don't even have to spend! we only need maybe 2 signings, whilst you fools
practically need a whole new team come the end of every season LOL
Good luck to you with the free transfers and loan signings hahahahahahaha
36 years tick tock, tick tock.....
I think its time city got some luck, been in uniteds shadow for just to long
ReplyDeleteBut shut up with this sanctimonious **** ! You are buying titles - you are paying superstars to come to you and do not try and deny that without the money they would not be seen dead near your club - thats the difference between the other clubs you mention, they could attract these players and did not need to pay the wages and fees you lot are paying.
My only problem with you is that your inflating the market and making it impossible for others to sign the top talent, bar some mega rich clubs, but other then that i think its time the blue side had its day.
Just do not do a chelsea... stand up and admit your buying and spending more then small countries gdp to do so! You mancs joined us all when we lambasted chelsea, so do not go down the road they went down and act like they deserve it - they don't and really, neither do you.
But i know you will enjoy it.
Shut up you muppet, I never ever bad mouthed Chelsea ever because I have always had a life away from sport, to keep me occupied instead of joining you whining like a little baby about the wealth gained by one club.
ReplyDeleteWe City fans could not care less what you think so continue your little rant if you wish, we deserve it, Chelsea deserves it and any other club deserves it. It being a bit of luck every now and then.
Yes we are buying titles and I said that in this article you doosh bag, just like United, Arsenal, Blackburn, Liverpool and Chelsea have done for decades.
You clearly are the biggest tool in the world considering United paid £29 million for Rio and £30 million for Berbatov, Real Madrid paid £80 million for Ronaldo etc before City even ever opened up their golden check book.
So with that said shut your big fat gob and go and blame the real guilty parties for inflating the transfer market.
League Title? Tick tock, tick tock, Chav FC.
