Manchester City FC Start With Silva Lining, Sitting Upright?, Taking Us Seriously?

First of all I do not support the notion that an increase of foreign players in English football is the cause or part of the cause for the lack of English youth talent and a lack of World Cup Trophies.

There are quite a few young or young up and coming English players around, but I lay the blame on the old top four clubs United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea for a lack of real English talent after the arrival of David Beckham.

When looking to lay blame on Fabio Capello, I find myself thinking 'but wait a minute this is the FA were dealing with here', so ill blame both parties.

Now we have English talent those in charge are afraid to tap into it.

Joe Hart deserved more from Capello aswell as the FA after the season he had with Birmingham City and I believe strongly that if Joe was given the chance we may of gone a longer distance at the World Cup. The England defence was all over the place, Joleon Lescott being another to suffer could also of proved positive after that show against Germany.

Although I am a great fan and admirer of Shaun Wright Phillips, I believe it was insane of Capella and the FA to take Shaun and Milner instead of Adam Johnson. I know I am not a qualified coach slash manager but for the love of sanity whatever were they thinking.

While all other National teams were fielding world class youth, England were knocking them down and reserving them opting for Emile Heskey and a miss-firing Rooney, what is with that?. I mean England really need to get out of this leaving youth on the bench to gain visual experience, they only need to become a fan like us to gain such experience.

To gain real experience you need to play real games and your just not going to get that experience playing half hearted friendlies, I mean friendlies need to be scrapped.

With that said Manchester City FC are on a mission to find the right players to take us forward so lets look at those players and see what you think.

Three players we will be seeing in blue shirts will be:

Jerome Boeteng - German International - aged 21 - Centre Back

Yaya Toure - Ghanain International - aged 27 - Defensive Midfielder

David Silva - Spanish International - aged 24 - Attacking Mid / Winger

I have narrowed the list of probable targets down to a few as follows:

Aleksandar Volarov - Serbian International - aged 24 - Left Back

Gregory van der Wiel - Dutch International - aged 22 - Right Back

or

Dani Alves - Brazilian International - aged 27 - Right Back

What are your opinions on signings or possible signings and like me, are you happy to hear City slap a not for sale sign on our beloved Carlitos Tevez.

Should we give Robinho another chance or should we get rid now and count the pennies.

FootballBlips: vote it up!

We shouldn't give robbinho another chance, he has blown it twice, so we should sell him and try and recuparate some of the money we spent on him, we should also sell: Taylor, santa cruz, zabaleta if we are going to sign alves.
We should hold on to tevez, ade, bellamy, given, johnson, toure, richards and most importantly mancini.
This is the most excited and optimistic season ever, we are going to get champions, and we are going to prove we can walk the walk, and also talk the talk
    CITY 4 EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
