Everton Aftermath, Disgraceful Performance On Citys Part, Away Fans Deserve More

Aside the little young Everton fan throwing abuse at our players in the home stand and believe me after a rerun and analysis, the language he used was beyond wrong and his parents should be ashamed of themselves.

I once had a little respect for Everton and their fans being in the shadow of Liverpool FC, that absolutely went out the window after watching them scream at every chance they could to gain a freekick or penalty even though it was not.

It was so surreal that if Salvador Dali were still here and able to paint sound, it would of been an absolute masterpiece outshining every other painting he produced and that is what you call near on impossible.

With that said what is with all these clubs wanting our scalp all of a sudden?, jealousy?, hatred maybe?, or is it just that fact we have a bit of cash to spend now?

One thing is for sure, if Joleon Lescott's the reason then I suggest Everton fans get a grip on reality and get a life, move on so to speak.

Everton are no better than United, Liverpool or Chelsea when it comes to buying lesser clubs players just because they had the money too.

Adult Everton fan, man in his fifties sitting next to a young girl while making abusive hand jestures at a City player, now that is a damn disgrace if you ask me.

So we have grasped and inhaled the fact everyone wants our scalp, now what do we do with that.

First of all half of our players have got to grow some balls and play like they should, either that or ship out and with that said i'd like to name and shame the particulars but instead ill leave it at.

They should come back to Manchester with their heads down in shame, our away fans deserved more than that disgrace of a performance.

With that said referee Andre Mariner of the West Midlands and his linesmen are an utter disgrace. His positioning was extremely poor always getting in the way of play if only in Evertons favour, the Linesman gives a penalty which was never a penalty as Saha never lost control of the ball, never went down to ground and ultimately still had advantage over Richards right up until the linesman flagged.

All in all a pathetic performance by City and an even more pathetic performance by the officials, Everton football club deserved the win but Everton fans did not deserve it after the way they collectively behaved.

Is this what we should expect against United in the League Cup?

If you go into work one day and give 150% infront of your boss and the next day he grills you for not giving another 150% then you deserve the grilling.

Are we, am I asking for too much?, simple answer is no I am not and we are not, I repeat that our away fans if anyone deserve better.

Luckily enough Spurs did not pick up all three points.

I agree fully, some of our players need to stand up or ship out. there was only one player today who give his all. I should complain more but as a city i am well used to watching crap.

I think Santa getting injured ruined the game for us. Mancini conducted the pre match conference with a whistle round his neck, might as well have blown it out of his arse after 5 minutes. Spurs and Pool drew, good prem run of games, no problem

bitter, defin. a clear penalty..the fact is city didnt turn up and were bossed out of the game by a much superior.
dont blame the ref, blame lack of spirit and determination.

My answer to that would be:

Splash of pot calling kettle black, if anyone has no class its you Everton fans with the way you represent your club and humanity.

Are you bitter by any chance?

I take your article to be a huge compliment to Everton FC in that its an admission that you were outplayed and you can only pick fault with some of our fans.

    Jog on.

Yes Out played, Out classed and never even turned up.

you can abuse me all you like but your comments will not be published, you all tell me to get some class, now thats a joke.

Lol bitter with what exactly?, what is there to be bitter about with Everton.

I pick fault in your fans because they deserve to be picked at.

Very paranoid perspective. I hate Man U, Chelski and Liverpool (especially) more than Man City. All fans from all clubs shout the odds for pens, throw ins, fouls and corners. Yours are no different, so do not delude yourself that it is just the Everton fans. Our boys had the midfield general in the shape of Fellaini. This was a major factor in your downfall!

to blame the ref is a joke. he favoured neither team. foul on Saha outside the box WAS a foul, ref played advantage, idiot kept on going inside the box, foul, ergo penalty. soft, but still a penalty. Don't think we should be abusing you. Just take defeat on the chin mate. You lost, fairly. Assuming your allegations of Everton fans are true, let's single out ppl shall we, cos ur fans are all angels... bitter

how funny, just face it, city were rubbish

Why on earth would anyone be paranoid?

Well as far as im concerned every time I have attended a City game, I have never ever heard foul language from children or heard foul language from an adult around children but if I ever did you can count on it, I would say something about it so that says it all does it not.

Sure your going to get one or two fans with no respect, tact or class but your club obviously has more than one or two.

Great Everton display today, against a city side that was poor on the day. As an older Everton fan, I have always felt an affinity for city over the years, and seeing them challenging for honours again, can only be good for the Premiership as a whole. Regarding our fans, they are widely regarded as knowledgeable and fair, with Goodison having a great atmosphere, as was true today, but as is the case at any ground, there are always those who embarrass themselves with poor behaviour.

What a boring, pointless article - all clubs have their share of fans who act up. Man city included. Given how well Everton played, and the your article just reads like a case of sour grapes.

How dare you single out everton fans as foul and abusive to fans and players. Man City fans are no better, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal and Spurs fans are no better. Every club has a moron minority who shout, scream and swear at players and opposition fans so to demonise everton is just your way of detrarcting from writting a thorough match report. Try focusing on Man City's problems and the woeful collection of overpaid prima dona players thats been assembled.

As far as I was aware I actually said Everton FC deserved their win while stating City never turned up so theres no sour grapes or selective hearing at all.

You state all clubs have bad apples for fans and I agreed but I have never seen foul langauge used around children at City games, until I witness it I hold my ground.

Manchester City really are a poor side, the worst I have seen at Goodison all season. Mind boggling that you can spend all that cash and Micah Richards still gets in your starting line up.

Who said it doesnt happen?, I just said its shameful. If I saw City fans acting like that i'd think the exact same as I am thinking now.

i was at the game today, near the away fans, and there was just as much foul language and gestures from city fans, including minors.

its not great to see kids behave this way agreed, its common with all football support so quite funny and small minded that you single out a couple of everton fans. it does look very bitter, even city supporters posting seem to agree with that.
as the saying goes, clutching at straws!

i admire the honesty of most city fans, anyone with eyes in their head could see everton were the best team on the day. fellaini derserves a mention, best midfielder on the pitch today.

i do tho wish city all the best for the rest of the season, and that you keep liverpool out of that 4th spot!! :D

Hey we have to start somewhere and although its not the first time I have seen inappropriate behaviour at a match, have to admit to never hearing a young City fan abuse players in such a manner and hope I do not hear it ever.

If anything you should accept the criticism as I have in return.

we all agree and accept that it is not good when fans verbally abuse players in a bad manner, especially minors, but what everyone seems to object at is you singling out everton fans when every club has the same problem. you seen to have the oponion that just because you havent heard it from your own fans it doesnt happen. you should not single out evrton fans. when you do so at a time when we beat you 2-0 in comes accross as sour grapes in the extreme.

  33. funny reaction from the evertonians to this artile. do you know where your children are now? ;) heehee

enjoy your victory, well deserved...we played you off the park in the same fixture last year and it didn't do us any good in the long run.

as for city, RSC going off after 5 minutes was a joke. talk about undermining the game plan.

ye gods, what has hughes done to us with this signing? we have no chance of selling him, no chance of him ever being there when we need him.

Just watched one of your muppets throw a lighter at Evra - captured by BBC camera's no less.....

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR OWN 'DISGRACEFUL' FANS NOW YOU CITY MUPPET??

    LOADSAMONEY - NO CLASS

  35. Anonymous19/1/10

You know what I say to that, YOU KNOW WHAT I SAY TO THAT.

The camera's also caught that particular United player grabbing his balls jesturing to City fans, now that is called provocation but I only wish to know what Rooney said to Teve right before Tevez scored that penalty?.

Your silly little idle 'no class' jibe is not even worth taking on the chin, Ill just brush it off my shoulder right here, right now.
