Uefa to Curb Spending, Man United feel Threatened, David Gill the Hypocrite

According to proposed plans by Uefa, Europe's cash-rich clubs will face disciplinary action if they do not live by their means. What does that mean exactly?, well clubs in the Champions and Europa Leagues will be regulated by a financial control panel and those clubs that live within their means will be rewarded.

The aim is for all clubs to live on the income they generate.

“A series of incentives and disciplinary action will be examined at the next executive committee meeting.”

Disciplinary procedures have not yet been defined, but it is suggested clubs that break the rules could be barred from UEFA competitions.

“The key principle on the road towards a fairer and more transparent game is that football should reward those clubs living within their means. This means that clubs shall need to reduce their spending," it adds.

“To be viable, salaries and transfers should be proportionate to the generated income. Clubs should invest in their youth sectors, and use their homegrown talent to reinforce their squads.”

UEFA president Michel Platini will put forward the plans to the Professional Football Strategy Council.

So what does this say for clubs running on mass debt?, if a club is endebted to a bank or banks and the clubs income is only just keeping that clubs future above water what happens?

There was I thinking Michel Platini hated the English for our extreme spending, it seems these rules Platini has created will not affect clubs like Man United, Real Madrid and AC Milan no no no no no.

These clubs will be free to live off bank loan after bank loan as long as their income generates enough to cover the loans, any other club will have to carry on struggling and stay away from loans and exceeding their means so the only way forward would be to find investment.

One good thing will come out of this, clubs like United will have to struggle to satisfy Uefa.

Well atleast we have United and Gill on the ropes, loved the posters so top marks to City's marketing team.

David Gill has publically stated that United will not be spending big on mercenaries no no, it is not the practice of such an honourable club that has lied and deceived the whole world virtually into thinking they represent Manchester, well it seems the world are starting to realise they have been deceived minus the deluded United Glory bandwagon.

The very same club that purchased a die-hard Leeds United player named Rio Ferdinand who pledged himself to Leeds only to betray them to join United, then there was Dimitar Berbatov who did the exact same with Tottenham Hotspur and Wayne Rooney who did the exact same with Everton.

United are the masters at buying mercenaries and the only reason Ferguson is not spending is because the banks have probably denied the Glazer brothers anymore cash which would explain the reason for Ferguson dragging in as much youth as possible from around Europe, again not producing their own youth. Which would also explain why Ferguson is not as vocal as he once was, is he overwhelmed?

I think he is, I think the global climate has tightened around United's neck and it is only going to get tighter.

When the banks really do give up on clubs like United it will hurt, everytime those clubs fail to win they will loose more and more cash and support.

Its good being an under-dog, atleast we know we have a whole lot less to loose compared to the bank-rolled elite.

Ultimately Uefa are just authorising themselves to seriously punish clubs that are cheating the system but for them to do so, the clubs would have to break or be found breaking the rules.
