Garrido and Evans on the move, Caicedo to Portugal

The Independent says Javier Garrido is being chased by Racing Santander, a signing of flop Sven Goran Eriksson, Javier Garrido has never looked comfortable defending. Hopefully this turns out to be true as it would almost guarantee us City fans the arrival of a left-back in the form of Joleon Lescott.

Reports suggest Felipe Caicedo will fly out to Portugal after returning from Africa with the City squad, a loan deal and option to make the move permanent with Sporting Lisbon seems to be on the cards.

Ched Evans is apparently being tracked by Stoke City, Glasgow Celtic, BBC radio Sheffield understands Sheffield United have tabled a £1.5 Million offer.

The News of the World says Hull City are trying to sign Benjani on a season long loan deal, the 30 year old African's future at City is cold so a permanent transfer would be better for both parties, will Benjani's old employers Portsmouth FC come calling?, who knows with new owners and their apparent cash flow though time is ticking.

Whilst reports suggest Manchester City are chasing Liverpool FC's 27 year old Spanish international Xabi Alonso which i personally find baffling seeing as City have only just aquired Gareth Barry.

Also reports suggest Lazio are chasing Valeri Bojinov, whether Mark Hughes lets Boj leave permanently or not is a mystery but i would be sorry to see him go for good.
