City Should Force Limits On The Media, We Don't Want To Be Like United, Are A Virus, Disease On English football.

We should make our training grounds invisible to the media eye be it Carrington or our new development, enclosed grounds.  Create no go area's, have our players protected against low life people like the BBC's Dan Roan. Also vet potential and existing employees to make sure they were never at any point in their lives a United fan, lifetime bans for the BBC, Daily Mail, Daily Star and Guardian, use them and abuse them to set an example.

If the media want in on the goings on at Manchester make them pay for it, have them sign agreements, force them to publish word for word and not manipulate or alter in anyway or be liable for prosecution. forbid them to publish or air any material until first checked and approved by City, it's time we put them all in their place once and for all.

That way anyone speculating, fabricating hype and lies will be seen for what they really are, yet another disease but this time in the world of media.

I bet if you ask any true City fan they will be of the same mind, that we just want to be where we believe we deserve to be right now.  At the top of English football and in Europe, our 3 decade long struggle to achieve that with little or no money has been a long draining road to travel.  So mentally draining that I highly doubt the likes of United or Arsenals fans would ever cope with as well as we have done, I'd be lying if I didn't say we want to win everything but that is where we  differ from the rags.

Wayne Rooney's current comments in the media prove United's arrogance knows no bounds what so ever, they actually think they will win the Premier League title when they meet Manchester on our own soil.  Like I have always been saying, where is the respect for QPR, Wigan, Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester, Swansea and Sunderland, the last seven clubs who could derail United's title hopes?

Never mind squeaky bum time, how about praying that you don't fall on your own sword.

We are not accustomed to taunting every other club in England which is why I find it ridiculously surreal that the country are more in support of United, even Chelsea and Arsenal fans who have also had to bare the full force of United fans arrogance and idiocy are in on it. Very few Premier League clubs fans have not treated us with contempt, those clubs be Liverpool, QPR, Wigan etc.

Outsiders predict that we will walk in the footsteps of United fans and breed the same level of arrogance and ignorance into our genes, I can't see that happening because I'm a decent law abiding citizen and human being with morals, who understands the difference between banter and abuse or right from wrong.

Yes all clubs have a minority of poor followers but none the size of United's, their success has bred a whole new form of inbred following.

We have our first child due on 22nd May 2012, and I am happy to say being a City fan for 30 odd years has helped define who I am as much as life has. One thing I will be teaching my children is not to care what unimportant others think of them, another I will teach is to have faith in who and what you believe in including yourself.

I'm not perfect and I don't think the perfect person even exists, what defines us is our individuality, teachings, strengths and weaknesses. Just by analysing society today leads me to believe United's fan base will never learn or understand humility unless their club were relegated to the lower tiers of English football, humility is something Manchester City fans are very well accustomed.

Banter is all well and good as long as it is not abused and tarnished with insult and arrogance, I'm not perfect but I respect all who deserve respect, those who abuse and insult us do not deserve respect.

Don't you get bored of seeing United win the league season after season? (not a question for a rag) its like rot setting in on a great old Oak tree, I know I,d prefer a league where five or six clubs were fighting for the title season after season, rather than the farce that it is now.

Right now we need to keep our integrity and stick to our principles, 2nd in the Premier League will be a significant improvement this season. If the Premier League and their fans want United to win again then so be it, more shame them after the abuse they have also had to put up with from United.

Maybe one day there will be fewer clubs who turn up against Chelsea and City, only to not turn up against United, the day all clubs turn up against everyone will be a better day for English football. The old guard of the top tier are slowly on their way back up, until then we just need to continue to grow and fight the rot.

If we are not successful this season then next season we will have another stab at the title, cups and Champions League, while hopefully seeing a significant strengthening of our playing staff and the loss of our weaknesses. With the impending plans to improve the surroundings of our stadium and a fresher future to look forward too what more could we ask for.

It's inevitable that some of the clubs standing in the way of United right now will not turn up, they never do and Sunderland will prove my point when they meet United at the end of the season. If any of them prove me wrong, then Ill hold my hands up and show respect when it's due. Can Queens Park Rangers break the trend that infects some of the more established clubs and take on United?, we are about to see how much influence some teams have and Blackburn just proved my point by rolling over and giving Howard Webb nothing to do.

You can't fight the rot that is United and the Football Association in one year, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal have failed to do so with all having representatives at the FA in the past. It will take a much more powerful organisation than United and a shift in personnel at the FA to change, there will be a shift at the FA in time starting with the imminent departure of United fan Dave Richards, so all it will take is for Manchester City to continue to grow.

While United scramble for every little bit of scrap metal they can get their hands on before they continue  their fall from grace, we will enjoy a much more fruitful future and have a lot more to look forward too.

Keep the faith!

Do you not think you are being disrespectful to the effort Blackburn made on Monday by saying they just rolled over?

    1. Do you really want me to pull out Blackburns disgraceful statistics since joining the Premier League?

Leeds United, West Ham and Middlesbrough all relegated clubs have better statistics than Blackburn who have not been relegated.

Chelsea and Arsenal have won the prem in recent history when they deserved to. And Liverpool simply have not played well enough over the course of a season to win it

    1. They won it decause they deserved it yes but they did it by breaking records and beating the officials because that is the only way to do it, when you have United constantly gaining preferential treatment from the FA and referees, and clubs that simply do not bother to put in the eefort against United but do against others.

    2. For the record I didn't say we deserve to win the Prem title, I said we deserve to be at the top and in Europe.

When we win it we will then deserve too.

  4. This one made me laugh my arse off.

A United fan over at the Truly Reds blog claims "Ewood Park is a tough place for United to go to".

blackburn have notched up 3 wins, 10 draws and 22 losses out of 35 games against United since 1980, 2 of those wins were at Old Trafford, 7 of the draws at Old Trafford so who is telling porkies.
