The Plank Ashley Young, The Enigma Carlitos Tevez And The Anti City Back Wash Brigade, Pressure Now On United

Over the past so many Months of Manchester City topping the Premier League table, British newspapers and Broadcasters have been spouting their Mouthe's of about how the pressure was always on us. Betfair football betting have us down to brush aside Sporting Lisbon for a start, I too believe we will ease past them without any pressure despite injuries and illness today.

We have had to put up with interview after interview of United players spouting off about us, as well as interviews of other players who play for other clubs be them ex United players or secret United fans.

They even recruited ex United players and asked their opinions, the only ex player who had any real common sense was the least likely of all, stand up Roy Keane and a player I admit to dislike as much as race face Neville.

After the shambles that turned up at Swansea, I can only feel for our travelling contingent. First they had to watch an average display against Sporting Lisbon, then a worse display against Swansea. I hope this is a blessing in disguise and pumps Manchester City and our players up enough to tear our remaining opposed apart, with another humiliating defeat for United.

Ashley Young is the latest rag mouth on the street, the pressure was always on us for most of the season being at the top. Well now the pressure is on us again for not being at the top, I'd ask "are you thick or what Ashley" but that would be a silly question now wouldn't it.

Looks like Wayne Rooney has found himself a new little friend in Young, both are as thick as a plank and narrow minded.

The loss to Swansea is no big issue for it takes the pressure off us and piles the pressure on United, those with an ounce of intelligence at United will know we will come out fighting with 3 points in the Derby still to play for.

It's time for Manchester City to step up to the plate and unleash Carlos Tevez, he has shown he still has what he always had. He has shown he is committed in the short term, its time to give him the chance to turn it around for all parties interests.

With Silva and Aguero along side, Tevez will be a force of nature, I was an extremely heavy Tevez critic over the whole saga. But not even I am narrow minded to think Tevez is not worth the risk, life is all about risk just like life is all about creating your own luck.

If anything I prefer to be the chasing team, we needed a bit of perspective in the final third. You can get complacent and too comfortable at the top, the slip up has come at the right time I'd say.

The arrogance of our opponents know no bounds, the FA and the Daily Rags ex ref Graham Poll were contacted after our colossal Joe Hart had a bit of banter with Swansea's Scott Sinclair just before Sinclair missed a penalty.

Beating us by one goal clearly is not enough to satisfy the haters, so much so that they resort to the antics of that sad little man or woman who calls the BBC to complain about an issue within a soap opera or program.

We're still in the Europa League with only one goal to turn around at home, and we're still well in the title fight with the rags yet to play us on our own soil.

The backwash brigade have done the predictable and bit the bait rather than shut up and show some humble caution. Now we all know there is not a gram of humble caution in the bones of a rag, given even a sniff of ammo they let their mouthe's run off without any evidence of thought.

The Daily rag aka Daily Mail run by United fans jumped at the chance to single out a teen aged City fan, who did nothing but show his frustration while in attendance at Swansea. They went on to try humiliate the young lad by implying the lad was crying his eyes out, even if he were crying his eyes out at least we can show emotion with dignity.

I seem to remember quite a few United fans ranged between 30 and 50 years of age, spitting their dummies out having fist waving childish little tantrums when we humiliated them by SIX.

Hypocrites!

The Daily Mail also made a complete error by claiming Carlos Tevez would make a shock comeback against Sporting Lisbon only to remove the article from their site after being laughed at by City fans who pointed to the fact Carlos was not on the player list registered to play against Sporting. The Daily rag have now replaced the article with an article correctly pointing to the Chelsea game.

Meanwhile David Platt has made John Guidetti well aware that he has not gone unnoticed, and is very much in Manchester City's future plan.

The pressure is now well and truly on United, our next games against Sporting Lisbon and Chelsea will be drilled into our players as must win.
The only issues right now are the key losses of Lescott, Barry, Kompany and Zabman Zabaleta to injury and illness.

Keep the Faith!

  1. Unleashing Tevez could make all the difference. City will easily brush aside Sporting Lisbon while United are likely to crash out of the Europa League tonight and will only have the Premier League left to play for. Being in the Europa League shouldn't be seen as a hinderence - it'll give City more confidence each week their still in the competition.
