The Republic of Ireland have forced Fifa into action, we may not get goal line technology but Sepp blatter and Fifa will be considering extra referee's positioned behind goals for the upcoming Africa World Cup.
This comes in the wake of Thierry Henry's handball but a few lifetimes after Diego Maradona's handball.
Cheating is a big issue within football and has to be stamped out as this is one issue that infuriates any fan of football including those in extreme control of their emotions.
The Republic of Ireland have called for Fifa to allow them to be the 33rd country for the World Cup in Africa but if Fifa do so then they will have to also include Costa Rica for an offside goal against allowed.
This could be a positive start to make players think twice about cheating and also relieve pressure on the match referee's.
Hull City players were without a doubt guilty of simulation at times, especially after recieving a penalty when they should not have.
What made me angry was that Phil Brown stood at the edge of his technical box and a Hull player repeatedly went down way to easily infront of him only for Phil Brown to wave his arms around like a rabid goose to get the attention of the referee.
Was that intentionally planned in the dressing room after half time?, I think so and referee's need to gain a little more savvy and not allow themselves to be influenced by coaches and managers.
Will the same be implemented into domestic football?
