We were accused of trying to buy trophies and titles from the moment Thaksin bought our club, it just goes to show how pathetic some people on this planet are as they still judge us for having Thaksin buy City. They brand him a war criminal but his country support him to the core, it just goes to show how deluded these morons really are.
Then we were bought by Sheikh Mansour of Adu Dhabi and still the hate continued, accused everyday of trying to buy trophies and titles as well as buying all the players in the world so no one else could have them.
Now we have finally got back on track after 35 years winning the 2011 FA Cup and achieving a Champions League place, all of a sudden the FA Cup does not count because we apparently bought it.
As far as I am concerned the bottom fourteen clubs in the English Premier League are at least twenty years, (some even thirty) behind the top six in terms of finance and foundation.
That was the mountain Manchester City had to claim and we are still only half way to the summit, we are talking about clubs that have had constant European football to fall back on in terms of finance.
Not to mention elevation of status in the transfer market.
With all due respect to the past thirty years of players that have graced our club and colours, we never had a chance against the so called big guns. We have all been reminded time and time again that even the smallest of clubs on their day can take down a giant but, to achieve anything you have to do that on a day to day basis in this day and age.
One particular clubs fans that are accusing us of buying trophies and titles, are also guilty of buying trophies and titles from at least the 1980's onwards.
Chris Smalling £7m, Anders Lindegaard £3.5m, Luis Antonio Valencia £16m, Nani £14.7m, Michael Carrick £14m, Gabriel Obertan £3m, Mame Biram Diouf £3.52m, Zoran Tošić £8.5m, Adem Ljajić £8.5m, Ritchie Ria Alfons De Laet £1.1m, Dimitar Ivanov Berbatov £30.75m, Manucho Alberto £1.32m, Fábio Pereira Da Silva £2.6m, Rafael Pereira Da Silva £2.6m, Owen Lee Hargreaves £17m, Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha £14m, Carlos Alberto Tévez (loan) £12m, Kieran Edward Richardson £5m, Michael Carrick £18.6, Tomasz Mirosław Kuszczak £2.1m, Rio Ferdinand £ 29.1m, Juan Veron £28.1m, Wayne Rooney £25.6m, Ruud Van Nistelrooy £19m, Anderson £17.3m, Dwight Yorke £12.6, Jaap Stam £10.75m, Andy Cole £7m, Roy Keane £3.75, Paul Ince £2.4m, Park Ji-Sung £4m, Javier Hernandez £6m, Gabriel Obertan £3m, Bebe £7.4m, Nemanja Vidic £7m, Ben foster £1m, Edwin Van Der Sar £7m, Eric Cantona £1.2m, Gary Pallister £2.3m, Mark Hughes £1.8m, Bryan Robson £1.5m, Gary Birtles £ 1.25m.
That is only half of their list of acquired personnel amounting to a whopping £384.84 million since 1980, the other half are almost nearly players under the radar that amounted to being nothing but reserve players and players sold on due to failing to impress.
Pot calling kettle springs to mind, again like I mentioned in my last article United are the definition of double standards.
Now though they are starting to accuse us of having a lack of soul, either that or are warning us of falling victim to losing our soul. They need to make their minds up on whether we have lost it or will lose it, the reaction of our fans at Wembley on FA Cup final day paints us as having plenty of soul in my opinion.
Some muppet over at Talksport named Craig Bloomfield talks about City's acquisition of new blood joining the ranks of our City faithful.
He talks about us City fans that have supported City through the dark days of the 1990s but seems to have forgot about the 1980s as well, he says "The more trophies City win, the more of these bandwagon jumpers they will attract. After years of criticising Manchester United's out of town glory hunters, City fans are about to experience what it's like to support a club with a significant plastic following."
To be totally honest I never branded just new blood or foreign supporters of United as glory hunters, I was branding them all after 1980 as glory hunters whether they were from Manchester or Japan.
Those who supported both clubs are an almost extinct generation, those that supported United in the 1970s are right behind them. Those United fans I have no issue with what so ever.
Any fans of United after 1980 seem to lead delusional and arrogant double standard lives, those are the same fans that hung the 35 year banner and the same fans that whine like little babies when it don't go their own way.
All I can say about it is that we are the soul of Manchester City and we always will be, our sons and daughters if they choose to be will also become the soul of our City. So with that said Manchester City will always have a soul, those new blood fans will be welcomed whether they be the son or daughter of a City fan or not.
They can either choose to learn who we are and become one of us or they can choose to follow their own path but one thing will never change.
We will always be the soul and we will always remember where we came from and who we were because we are Manchester City and not some rag tag plastic club like United based on a lie.
35 years, were still here so with that said.
Three players I believe Manchester City should sign
I believe versatility is the key to our transfer targets and I have come to the conclusion our top three targets are:
Jan Vertonghen aged 24, 6ft2 Belgium similar to Vincent Kompany, Jan can be deployed as a central defender or defensive midfielder.
Juan Mata aged 23, 5ft7 Spanish International can play as a play maker or on the left wing.
Alexis Sanchez aged 22, 5ft6 Chilean can play on the left wing or as a deep lying forward.
If their not then they certainly should be as far as I am concerned but, what are your opinions on who we should be targeting?
