Rumours Rumours, It's Looking Good For Manchester City Right Now

Rumour has been and is attaching itself to the walls of The City of Manchester Stadium.

It is well documented that Emmanuel Adebayor wants a move to Italy and he could possibly find his way out of Manchester if he is lucky, or will City fans be the lucky ones?

He has not exactly set the Premier League on fire like he promised us now has he, As a City fan I would say we were the lucky ones if Adebayor leaves.

Roque Santa Cruz finds himself on the sidelines and it is fair to say he has the right to be frustrated, also well documented in the media that Cruz seeks a way out if possible.

I was not sure about Cruz leaving City and ok it was Hong Kong but non the less, his performance has made me even more unsure. As our City fans will know Cruz has only been used as a bit part sub and not really been given a good run of games to impress Mancini senior.

Mario Balotelli has also been in the media spotlight recently angling for a transfer to AC Milan with reports Balotelli dined with AC's top dog.

With all that said I would not be bothered about all three of them leaving as long as the latest rumour is to be believed, yes that's right Jerome Boateng's fellow countryman and 21 year old Germany striker Thomas Muller apparently tops Mancini's wish list.

Along with that City are apparently also chasing Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko, and apparently Wolfsburg are interested in Roque Santa Cruz so your guess is as good as mine.

I would be extremely happy with both Dzeko and Muller and if I am not mistaken Muller can play in central midfield and in the hole behind the main striker, two very strong players who will no doubt succeed in the English Premier League.

Absolutely gutted Joe Hart is injured after a training session before the England International friendly with France but Shay Given should now stop whining and wanting to leave City which is good news for now and will force United fans to shut the hell up and stop dreaming.

The good news for City I have to add is that it has been reported to be just a back issue probably only a muscle strain and not a serious injury.

Shaun Wright Phillips future with City is a mixed one and although I would be happy with him staying, I do feel what he has to offer has declined since rejoining us from Chelsea.

No matter what happens I wish him all the best in the future.

Another area we are slightly weak in is in centre of defense with if rumour again is to be believed then we are hunting for a partner for Kompany, 22 year old Italian centre back Angelo Obinze Ogbonna who is yet to play for the senior Italian national side and is yet to commit himself to Italy or Nigeria.

Also on the City radar is 21 year old centre back Victor Ruiz Torre who is yet to play for the senior Spanish national side.

Id say the rumour mill is sounding quite nice at present.

muller would be an excellent aquisition, would prefer torres over dzeko cos to be honest we dont want the big man to lump it to, we want the tricky wizard with pace who can finish lethally.....
