This is our City: Time For Manchester City As A Whole To Adapt, Time To Play Them At Their Own Game.

Time For Manchester City As A Whole To Adapt, Time To Play Them At Their Own Game.

I for one am sick of bully tactic teams like Blackburn and especially players like Christopher Samba and El Hadji Diouf so if you can not beat them join them or more to the point, take the stick off them and beat them with their own stick.

Plain and clear to see Adam Johnson was off balance but what Samba did was utterly disgraceful, giving him a hard shove helping hand to the ground from behind.

Afterwards Johnson confronted Samba and Samba knew exactly what he did was wrong, Clear Yellow and Penalty in the eighteen yard box not given as the referee and linesmen were either blind or just plain corrupt.

But that was no excuse for continuing to allow lesser teams to play the bully card and no excuse for failing big time in front of goal.

We have players like Tevez, Johnson, Milner and Hart who play with everything they have only to be let down by players like Richards and Kolo Toure.

We need Jerome Boateng and Aleksandar Kolarov back as fast as possible or we are in for one hell of an inconsistent season again.

I honestly believe Jo has unintentionally deceived us as after replaying footage of pre season, I realised he was then given the time and space to score which he will not get in the Premier League.

I predict Jo ends up as the same old player he once was for us which means we are in for one hell of a ride at the other end of the pitch unless we get Mario Balotelli back and Adebayor firing on all cylinders.

We need to start playing the tough game and giving as good as we get, we also need to start being more clinical and adventurous infront of goal instead of trying to walk the ball into the back of the net.

No more excuses, we all want to see results and its time we all including attendee supporters take it up a hostile notch at home, we are now treated like a top team so lets start treating them to something in return.

Top four is a must minimum but I believe we are three or four players short of a Premier League title.

I really dont understand that myself especially with the players we have.

I clearly understand Milner and Yaya having to be present but Barry has to go in place of Dejong imho, Im not impressed with Gareth Barry or Kolo Toure at all.

When we were in for Barry from Villa I was shouting no not Barry, buy Milner and I stick by my choice to this day.

Ok Barry is a good player I admit but I believe he will never be world class like Vieira once was at Arsenal.

Three or four players short?! Don't you think you've spent enough?

  4. De Jong is injured. Much of the football we played yesterday was wonderful and personally I don't want 'attitude' like Saba and El Haj Diouf. We do need a 'fit and firing' Adebayor, though. Jo, to do him credit is trying hard but he doesn't have Ade's skill and class

Yes I do believe we are but who said buy them, we already have.

Striker Alex Nimely who needs a season of good appearances.

Another Striker to replace the outbound Santa Cruz.

A World Class Centre Back to replace Kolo Toure, Kolo is not good enough.

Hi Mick, I am aware of Dejong not being fully fit and agree we played some good football at times but its pointless unless your clinical along with it.

I agree partly with what Gallagher said in our new documentary that whats important is being able to have a team to be proud of, but dont believe in what he said about whether winning or loosing it does not matter.

jesus h etc. get a grip people. We had a mental abberation from joe and probably the worst ref performance since, since, oh I don't know, since the last time clattenburk reffed us. We didn't handle the football anti-christs from hackburn well (don't include samba in that list, he was excellent). On any other day that would have been 3 points in the bag nevr hitting top gear. it is NOT the end of the world. onwards and upwards, CTID

Our best defensive pairing always looks like the Belgian duo of Boyata and Kompany to me.

I think we will keep throwing games as long as Tevez is captain. I don't see him talking to any of his team mates on the pitch, and the responsibility seems to be upsetting his game.

I couldn't believe it, having Vieria on the pitch, but not being the captain. Vieria is a leader, a great football brain, multi-lingual, massively experienced, respected. He captained the world cup winning France team, the Arsenal "invincible" team etc.

I thought he was an odd choice, even on a free, but he's a rolls royce. He's turning into a more mobile Didi Hamman - you just can't get the ball off him without fouling him. He made - and scored - the goal yesterday

I agree with other anonymous and CiTyBlUe that we've spent enough. Buying new players is not the solution. Ok, I admit that we probably need one clinical finisher like Dzeko, but that has to be enough. Just look at the names we have even sitting at our bench, it just have to be enough to succeed.

We had plenty of possibilities to score yesterday, so it wasn't all that bad. We were a bit unlucky and also, as I said, you have to be more clinical. For example, Tevez is not a clinical finisher even though I rate him very highly otherwise. Last season was just an exception. I believe he will score maybe half of the goals he did last season.

I also think some players are not giving 100 percent. Mancini should do something to correct these players' attitude or just bench them and let those play who are really willing to fight.

Boyatta and Kompany are by far our best centre pairing so far and I believe Mancini is unsure to this very day about who he should pair up.

Clearly Kolo Toure is not good enough as a starter and did not want him at City anyway.

I believe Kompany, Boyata, Lescott and Boateng to be all better than Kolo.

Once settled I know our strongest pairing will be Kompany and Boateng.
