We have had many a broadside recently from opposing clubs and fans alike, as well as many accusations thrown at us but have to say the best so far has been the 'City were to blame for England's World Cup disaster'.
I could go into facts and figures but it would only fall on opposing death ears and we all already as City fans know for ourselves the facts.
Villa's owner Randy Lerner and Wolves chief Exec Jez Moxey are the latest to slam City, Lerner accusing us of breaking the rules over the James Milner saga which to date has not ended. And Moxey jumps on the 'City are killing Football' bandwagon stating "Due to City, football runs the risk of loosing what it is really about, they are contributing towards spiralling wages and unrealistic demands".
In my opinion the damage was already done and we are just doing what we have to do.
Loving the fact Harry Redknapp is upset over not being aloud to get his hands on Craig Bellamy, very happy about how City are operating and lets face facts here, Craig Bellamy knew his time at City was eventually going to end.
The Stephen Ireland situation seems to have got out of hand a little, I was once a huge fan of Stephen Ireland from academy level and it seems hes lost his way and only has himself to blame.
I don't pretend to know the facts but it is pretty clear to me that once Mark Hughes had left, Ireland went downhill and lost form as he has had plenty of chances to consistently prove himself but has failed. Maybe he thought he did not have to prove himself to the new gaffer and expected a guaranteed place in the first team?
I feel a little robbed by Ireland, he showed so much potential only to give up instead of trying to get Mancini to give him one more chance to prove himself and become a squad player like everyone else at City. Instead he accepts the chance to exit and asks for a pay off, the lad has no fight in him and is happy to leave City.
How many of us know that: if Ireland refuses to leave City without a pay off, if he ends up still at City but not in the chosen 25 and he does not play at least 10% he can then rip up his remaining contract and walk away a free agent.
He has probably been made to understand this by his agent, if not then he has found out another way just like I did. Using it as a bargaining chip probably as all he would have to do is, sit back and watch his bank balance rise without breaking a sweat until the season is up as Ireland has no real need to play still being in International Exile.
Loyalty is short lived on both sides with some that are loyal and others that are not so. Respect is another that can be taken away as easily as it is given, but both are pointless arguing about as you just do not get anywhere.
Opposing fans from across the world wide web are attacking City and us City fans but do we care?, I know not and I am not about to start caring either.
Lets have a closer look at what we have been accused of up until now:
Killing Football
Increasing Transfer Fee's
Increasing Wage Demands
To Blame For England's Fall At The World Cup
Destroying Youth Prospects By Buying Foreign Imports
Bullying Other Clubs
Breaking Rules
Disrespecting Long Serving Players
[have I missed any out?]
Now that is an impressive list of achievements to date.
Very excited about seeing Super Mario Balotelli line up along side Capitan Carlitos Tevez, the lad is a 20 year old cross between Craig Bellamy and Thierry Henry in their prime only with the potential to be better.
Boy are they going to hate us even more when Balotelli hits the ground running, we will have the best forward line in the league when it happens.
Approve of all City's recent signings and extremely happy to see Alex Nimely finally break through, England needs a real good striker to replace the flops and I tip Nimely to come good and exceed the likes of flop Wayne Rooney tenfold.
As far as this hate campaign goes this is only the start and I think were going to need a bigger bin.
I welcome any opposing fans opinion be it hate or not so, will be interesting to read.
That bit about Stephen Ireland being able to rip up his contract if he does't play 10% of games is not true.
