Inter's Empty Gloat And More Defensive Issues, Atleast We Have Johnson To Look Forward Too.

The one that got away but how did he slip our net?, maybe there were interference from an unknown third party.

Did the Kenyan Prime Minister unintentionally hinder the transfer of one Kenyan midfielder McDonald Mariga to Manchester City FC?

The BBC Reports Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Obinga insists he did all he could to help McDonald Mariga get a UK work permit, Mariga failed to get clearance in time but had eventually obtained a UK work permit after the window had closed.

Raila Obinga said "I would like to assure soccer fans and all Kenyans that with the British High Commissioner, I've done what I could to get Mariga into Manchester City".

"I spent a minimum of three hours on phone talking to Gordon Brown's office, the Africa Office, office of Culture and Sports, the Home office, the FA president Lord Treisman and to Mariga himself."

Inter Milan President Massimo Moratti has hailed the capture of Parma midfielder McDonald Mariga in the January transfer window, and even gloated at former Inter boss Roberto Mancini who narrowly missed out on the midfielder, "this is the best thing that could have happened to the club in the transfer window".

A source seems to suggest Mariga could still join City in the summer seeing as he in the end gained a UK permit however, If Inter were to want to sell in the summer I would personally go tell them where to shove their predictably inflated price.

I wish Mariga the best of luck at his new cluuuuuuuuuub.

Vincent Kompany is carrying a groin injury so will be out of action for a week or two and Pablo Zabaleta was on the recieving end of a flying arm ending up with a broken nose but will play on with a protective mask it has been reported.

Considering Roberto Mancini has opted not to reinforce our defense, heres to praying nothing else happens to our defenders between now and the end of season.

One thing we have to thankfully look forward too is Adam Johnson, heres to hoping he hits the ground running and aids our push for the top four. There is no doubt that he has talent and I for one can not wait for this one, hopefully for Johnson's sake and for ours that it all works out well.

On that note im sorry to all those that like Benjani but I am so so happy he has atleast gone out on loan, I get so bored watching him play that he almost sends me to sleep.
