Robin Van Persie, Guilty As Sin, Provocation Has No Place In Football

There is no doubt Robin Van Persie is as guilty as Emmanuel Adebayor if not more guilty, Robin Van Persie ran straight to the City section whilst throwing obscene language and gestures at us instead of running to his own fans, not to mention Van Persie's provocative actions that the British media fail delibrately to highlight, Robin Van Persie could have broken Emmanuel Adebayor's leg but then could have is not important to the FA I guess.

Emmanuel Adebayor did not offer the Arsenal fans any gestures or obscene language, he was only guilty of celebrating his goal so lets face it, this is not the first time Roben Van Persie has tried to get a player into trouble by spouting rubbish on his own clubs website.

We all know the English Football Association is corrupt just like we all know the other European governing bodies are corrupt to some stage so with that said if Emmanuel Adebayor gets punished and Van Persie gets away with his actions then it will highlight how corrupt football still is.

Should Van Persie also be punished for his actions? have your say below.

My own opinion, RVP should be banned for trying to provoke and for his actions as a whole.

Arsenal fans are an utter disgrace throwing objects at stewards just because a player celebrated a goal infront of them, what goes around comes around imo as they asked for it.

  2. I think the FA should persue Van Persie's goal celebration as vigorously as they do Adebayour's. As it stands, the Gooners will be rewarded for their actions if Ade gets banned, whilst City fans who did not riot or assault stewards will certainly question the morality of the FA if the Dutchman goes unpunished.
