Manchester City of 56, Blast From The Past As Trautmann and City Win The FA Cup

1956, Manchester City FC, the pride of Manchester won the FA Cup aired by British television broadcasters ITV. Birmingham City FC were the opponents and ex Luftwaffe pilot and German goalkeeper, Bert Trautmann playing between the sticks for Manchester City.

This was a football match I was unable to attend, being born in 75 but I enjoy our past just as much as I enjoy our present so if any of you have not had the chance to experience it for yourselves then here it is.

The day Manchester City won the FA Cup, the same match where Bert Trautmann played on in goal after breaking his neck.
