Jim Cassell leading Manchester City's Global Academy Adventure

Captain Cassell, City's youth academy director will leave City for Abu Dhabi and will be representing Manchester City FC on a global youth academy scale.

The media are trying the usual spin and like to think there was a falling out between Jim Cassell aand Mark Hughes twisting and turning it into a conspiracy that Hughes is pushing Cassell out of City.

The media even go on to say Mark Hughes is risking a City fan backlash by thinking their lame attempt to fabricate this conspiracy will convince some City fans that Jim Cassell is being pushed out, ok a few may fall for it but i don't see a witch-hunt protest happening.

Jim Cassell is indeed still an employee at Manchester City and will still have a base in Manchester, The Daily Mail say that coaches Alex Gibson, who led City to a prestigious FA Youth Cup triumph two seasons ago and ex-City captain Paul Power are off to Abu Dhabi too, Cassell will be replaced by Andy Welsh, once coach of Leeds and Man United.

We have Jim Cassell and his coaches to thank for providing us with a large quantity of English talent aswell as a small quantity of non-English talent but the thanks will not stop there as he will be working his magic over-sea's. We have not seen the last of Jim Cassell yet so lets all wish him the best on his well earned adventure and thank him for the service he has already provided.
