Hypocrite Abramovich and Two Face Platini Join Forces to Fight Manchester City

The Daily Mail reports hypocrite Russian Roman Abramovich has urged UEFA to introduce legislation banning clubs from Europe that don't live within their means.

You may be thinking but what does all this have to do with Manchester City, well this is what Two Face Platini had to say.

'City can spend £300m if they want to but if they are not breaking even in three years then they cannot play in European competition.'

Wait a minute?, what makes them puppets think we wont be living by our means by 2012, sounds more like they are powerless to stop us and they are in a panic to me.

Platini also went on to say, 'I haven't spoken to Manchester City about this and I don't remember meeting their owner but I'm sure I will. I have, however, met with Roman Abramovich. 'He is a football person and is passionate about the game. He loves football. But he has come to me and said that we must do something about this.

It doesn't matter if one team doesn't agree, because this is what the clubs want. I have spoken to Silvio Berlusconi at AC Milan and Massimo Moratti at Inter Milan, as well as Abramovich; all agree we have to do something.'

At a time like this I am thankful our owner is Arabian as they are not interested in brown noses, they mean business and they do not tolerate failure which bodes well for City as they will not want us to fail.

'Platini said an independent panel would be set up to judge whether clubs have broken the new rules. 'Abramovich, Berlusconi, Moratti, they do not want to fork out any more,' he added.'

Oh so its ultimately all about these club owners not wanting or willing to match or exceed Manchester City's spending now or in the future, well that stuff that's up then does it not?, Real Madrid have already done so.

Time will tell if we can live within our means but I for one am not and will not be intimidated by these two faced hypocrites, I cannot see our owners tolerating UEFA or these puppets either.

Roman Abamovich understands, clubs like Real Madrid, AC Milan and Man United are all in debt and Manchester City are not in debt. The players City have purchased so far do not count towards our clubs finance, our owner wiped clean what debt City had when he became sole owner so Abramovich obviously finds it unsettling seeing as he has run out of steam at Chelsea and has been made to look poor by our owner.

If Roman thinks we are going to suffer at the hands of UEFA then hes got a big surprise coming, he is throwing his toys out of his pram for a second time and it will only be a matter of time before Chelsea pay for his lack of commitment.

A UEFA plan to try keep the current status quo just that, the only way real English clubs can defeat UEFA is to break the top four monopoly and hold onto a top four place, thus maintaining a position in the Champions League and an income to sustain a Champions League squad and club.

Our owners are very modest but without any doubt, they are looking to see City in the top four earlier than most of us thought. Our owner knows full well for City to succeed, we need to be in the Champions League and UEFA have given us three years to do it in.

Platini is dead right. Anyone who takes off their fan lenses for a bit can see that the EPL has become demented with money, and that it's killing football in England and elsewhere.

Fan lenses? clearly your closed minded, i have accepted your opinion by publishing it which instantly shows in not afraid to listen to others so now i have listened, i will follow that up with a reply.

I am my biggest critic, i dont have tinted glasses as i dont need glasses full stop.

Platini is dead wrong, Man United have been exploiting huge amounts of money for decades, now that some other club dares follow siut, that club is perceived to be destroying football.

If thats your opinion then so be it but don't think for one second that sane people like me are going to buy into the insane notion that money is ruining football.

What a laughable joke that is.
