To all those spuds who mocked us when beating us to Champions League football a while back, I bet you're now praying we beat Newcastle on Sunday aren't you? considering they could knock you off 4th spot. I seem to remember a lot of loud mouth spuds on here, I wonder what they are thinking right now?
Earlier this season they were on about how their team where back in form and ready to knock us out of 2nd, funny how things turn out aye!
Kompany was wrongly red carded against United after he slid in making contact with the ball but not the United player, considering that red card United had it well and truly coming I would say. It was hilarious watching Vinny put the ball in the back of the net and claim vengeance for his criminal sending off.
After a very good few seasons with Umbro, Manchester City's success has opened the door for Nike who are currently the biggest global sporting brand. Though my question is can they pick up where Umbro left off, It would be a shame if Nike fail to live up to the quality of Umbro's fantastic collection of City kits. (I personnally like the cotton look and feel over synthetic).
After not giving in to that muppet of a rags demands (his attempt to sell the plots of land to his fellow fans failed after none of them bothered), we finally have the go ahead to develop our new academy and training facilities etc and the work has started.
